I acquired this house in 2007 as a weekend home to get a way from the hustle and bustle of a busy work life in Paris. Nature, natural materials, garden, sauna, fireplace, ... I loved it so much that I decided to change careers, become a roof thatcher and live here full time. I rent the whole house out while I'm away working in Brittany. There's everything you need here to feel at home in my home :)

Tucked away in beautiful countryside setting, this old cottage is a true gem for anyone seeking a retreat that blends historic charm with comfort. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by the cottage’s stunning period features that tell stories of a bygone era. The exposed wooden beams, original stone fireplace making you feel instantly at home.
The interior decor is thoughtfully curated to highlight the cottage’s historical character while providing all modern amenities. Each room is a delightful mix of antique furnishings and cozy touches, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing stay. The kitchen, equipped with a rustic Aga, lots of cookbooks and even a hidden dishwasher. Good size bathroom with large shower and even has a sauna!
Outside, the cottage is surrounded by a picturesque garden, the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine.
What truly sets this cottage apart is its ability to transport you back in time while offering all the comforts of modern living. The host was excellent, easily contactable, offering suggestions of local restaurants. Definitely one to go back to!
