Business License#00003206 Our basement suite is brand new and directly across from the beach on Lake Okanagan. The dead end road makes for very quite lake side setting, although we are not on the lake, just a short 100M walk and you will find a series of nice little public beach spots, very quiet and private. Walking distances to O'Rourke's & Intrigue wineries, before 6pm at O’Rourke’s for $40 includes a bottle of wine and wood fired pizza, great deal! Also within 5 minute drive to Gray Monk, Arrow Leaf, Ex Nihilo & 50th Parallel.

As this is a family home, guests may hear some noise during the day and early evenings as 2 young children do live upstairs, but generally things are quite peaceful and relaxing.

Relaxing in Lake Country

The accommodation was exceptionally clean and well laid out - it even offered some basics and a lovely local bottle of wine! Slightly noisy at times as family lives upstairs, but property managers were very interested in feedback! Great stay!

Relaxing in Lake Country

If you get a chance to stay here it’s a must! Absolutely beautiful property! Very spacious, clean, private BBQ area, and the best equipped kitchen we have even had in a rental. A small secluded beach is a very short walk away and the owners let us use their kayaks and paddle boards! The beach is a bit rocky so bring your water shoes! All other amenities are just a short drive away.

So beautiful & clean

This location was so lovely! It was a treat to have a view of the lake right from our place! We didn’t find beaches within walking distance that had sand, so still have to make a drive every day (about 20 min), but it was nice to be staying in a little cozy spot away from the busy-ness. Highly recommend! The hosts were great, didn’t hear anyone making noise and they were very kind when we first arrived and met briefly.

Late summer get away

We really enjoyed the accommodation, spotlessly clean, comfortable, great location, ultra quiet. Has everything needed for meals with added touches. We spent the week here made breakfast, packed lunch, then headed out exploring for the day. Hosts Ryan & Cassandra had everything ready, even offered a kayak to use, highly recommended for a nice get away. Check in & out was super easy.

Lake country retreat

The property is beautiful and we loved the comfy king size bed! Very thoughtful of owners to provide milk, cream, bottles of water, a wine bottle, and even chocolate ❤️ The owners even allowed us to borrow their two person kayak and bikes. The only thing we didn’t like was the noise level from time to time. The owners have two little children and on several occasions, the children were playing right by the door that leads to the rental suite and even tried to open the door a few times. Other than the noise of little children playing, which we weren’t expecting, our stay was pleasant.

Amazing Lake Country Trip

It was great, the place was super clean and coming here felt very welcoming. Views were amazing and our hosts were super friendly. We would definitely return!!!

Quiet retreat on the lake

Located in very quiet area at the lake. Steps to public beaches Variety of wineries around including famous Gray Monk and welcoming O'Rourke's The suite is just perfect. Very clean and equipped with everything you'll need for a relaxing stay. Ryan and Cassandra very friendly and accommodating hosts. We really liked our stay there.

What a view!

The view was incredible and the hosts go above and beyond for their guests. Ryan and Cassandra have built a little piece of paradise in an already surreal location. From waking up in serenity to the walk to the beach and finishing the night off on your own private patio. This place has it all. Book now, but you’re probably too late. This place will be in high demand, definitely a must stay!

Spotless, Clean, Private, Quiet

Thank you Casandra and Rayan for your hospitality. This is perfect place whether you are staying as couple and want it quiet and relaxing or if you are family and have kids you can be assured there are no traffic through...kids are safe. Bed Linen, mattresses towels, dishes are high quality., Bright and open space, amazing views. Availability to use kayaks as they were available was really appreciated. Orchards are just few minutes away. Amazing location to do bike excursions and wine tours at the same time. Thank you and we will be back with our future stays. Awesome Accommodation

Really enjoyed our short stay at this beautiful property. Very comfortable accommodations perfect for a couple. Hosts had everything we needed available in the unit. They were very responsive and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. The brand new private patio area was fantastic in the evenings for dining or just relaxing. Looking forward to visiting again!

We have 2 young boys (born 2014 & 2017) who keep us very busy and active! We recently relocated from the Lower Mainland to the Okanagan to have a better balance of work/family and being here in Lake Country has certainly proven to be the best decision we've made as a family to date! We fell in love with this private, quite little paradise, we feel like we are on holidays living here every day, with the view of the lake, the quietness of our dead-end no thru traffic road, very peaceful!

What makes this property unique

There’s a great fresh peach stand just up the road which makes for a nice morning stroll along the beachside. Based on availability, we have some bicycles your welcome to use and a 2 person kayak. The bicycles are a great way to see the nearby areas, if your really adventurous, you could even do a biking wine tour (start at O’Rourke’s and Intrique, then head over to Arrow Leaf, Ex Nihilo and Gray Monk - that way the trek back is all down hill for ya!😉)
