Our visit was very nice at this home John Met us at the door Invited us Showed us around the place Everything was extremely clean. very well Supplied even had a continental breakfast with I am guessing fresh made blueberry muffins that were delicious. If you are a midday napper I could not find a way to get the shades to come down you will need you some eye shades other than that it is a wonderful home looking forward to staying there again
Wonderful stay here. John was very friendly and helpful upon checking in. Old southern charm, and the bed was amazingly comfy. The lodgings were full of fun antiques. It is a location that does require a car to get to downtown. Definitely recommend this location.
It is a beautiful property, quiet and very clean. The owners add in thoughtful extras: light breakfast, coffee machine, and a refrigerator. Off-street parking is included, and the property is in the historic district, and close to the downtown.
I used the beautiful house as an oversize Florida room, full of windows and beautiful artwork for a family dinner. John’s a great host. Just a great little getaway place
We stayed two nights to be able to see the Blue Angels air show. The room was spacious and exactly as listed. We felt very comfortable and no issues at all. The extras of fruit, coffee, muffins and water was really appreciated
Everything about this place was lovely. The room and house aesthetic was beautiful, the host was very attentive during the check in process, and the bed and blankets were super comfortable - which was a big plus after a 13 hour drive. Would definitely stay again. Thank you for your hospitality! 💕
Very nice suite within a shared house. Separate entrance, quiet, roomy, well decorated, and in a great location. Highly recommend!

Friendly people but strong musky smell
The hosts were both friendly enough and the check-in process went smoothly. A couple of hours after checking in, we decided we could not stay there because of the strong musky smell. One of the hosts said it had been raining a lot lately and the other said he loved that smell. We asked for a partial refund (we booked for 3 nights) and the host refused to grant a refund. I really debated on writing a review but the smell can be an indication of mold and bacteria and can be harmful to your health, in addition to being unpleasant. In the end, we found a place on Pensacola Beach, which is what we should have done to begin with.
My teen daughter and I needed a place to stay for just a night. I'm so happy to have found this little place. It was exactly the right amount of space for us, easy to find, delightful in every way.
We drove in from New Orleans with the hopes of a well deserved weekend escape. My wife and I desperately needed some alone time. When we arrived at the location we were sorely disappointed! Beach front property and mountain biking were listed as amenities; completely disingenuous. My next issue was our lack of privacy, we had a chefs door separating us from people, who were seemingly having a dinner party upon our arrival. There was no way to lock the revolving chefs door and my wife was mortified. To say that we felt uncomfortable is an understatement. Mind you I was a bit of a DUNCE and did not read the fine print stating it was a shared residence. Shared, more like communal! Lastly, I would suggest never calling THE VRBO resolution team. She was based out of the Philippines and her words regarding “communal living space and obvious disingenuous comments regarding amenities were, ‘we no find thissss issue a refundable offense.” Well I guess they are accustomed culturally to live communally with strangers in third world countries, but not in America. Stay away
Absolutely loved staying here and highly recommend! We were greeted by John upon arrival who gave us a quick tour of our accommodations and made us feel comfortable and welcomed. After that it was basically like having the place to yourself. The home was beautifully decorated, meticulously clean, and stocked with a few personal touches. By far prefer staying here over any hotel I have ever stayed at. Everyone should try this place out at least once!
