Located near downtown Lafayette in an area known as Freetown, approximately 1 mile from Festival Acadian/Girard Park and Festival International. The apartment features a spiral staircase leading upstairs and New Orleans style balcony to relax after a long day. Very spacious living room and kitchen. Bathroom features large cast iron soaking tub also with shower. Each bedroom has queen size beds and full closet.

Great weekend getaway

Nice getaway

Stayed a week here. Easy access to everything. Located in working area, so there are few neighbors nearby which means it's pretty quiet at night. French quarter porch is nice retreat.

About 20 mins walk from the center of Lafayette's Festival areas. Accomodation was a little dated, but perfectly acceptable place to crash after being at the festival all day.

Very good Option

The booking process through Vrbo was super easy; getting the key was super easy; and the location was definitely a great option. I would definitely recommend this location. The stairs are steep if you have bad knees, but once you get up there you are good.

Perfect size

Had my niece and her friend stay there for my sons wedding and it was the perfect size for the 3 people that was there. It's above a business and has stair way to claim to get to it.

Highly Recommend

We stayed here during the UL Family Weekend, And while it’s not the most modern state of the art place it was perfect. Very close to campus and the owners are very easy to work with. Will definitely be reaching out as we go back next season for football games. Only thing we missed was a microwave.

Home Base

As my Fiancée and I explored the area to potentially move to Lafyette, we used this as home away from home. The hosts were great, even accommodated us arriving earlier than planned. We are planning on moving and any time we have family visit we will be sending them this way! The spiral staircase was my favorite part! 10/10 highly recommend!

Ease of access, no hassle check and check out process...everything you need is there, washer/dryer, full kitchen, cabinet full of spices, television, WiFi, Netflix included, bring your own Prime video like I do and many other options. Very peaceful and relaxing for me.

Peace at more than reasonable price

I've stayed multiple times at this apartment. You cannot beat it at the price you are paying. Read the description and look at the pics, no surprises....Owner has great communication.

Quality Accomodations

If you're looking for a quality rental at a great price, this is your place. Neighborhood is a mix of industrial and residential and at night it's fairly quiet,outside of normal city noise. A small convenience store is just a few blocks away and larger grocery stores are a short drive. ULL campus is a short walk. Jefferson Street and all it has to offer is an easy walk.

It was an amazing property and I had a great time

The property was awesome. It was very clean and it had everything I needed and more. I would definitely stay there again on my next visit. The neighborhood was quiet and right in the middle of town. It had everything I needed to cook with and it also had a microwave, which I seen was the biggest complaint when I was reading the reviews. 5stars for the property, for the location, and the owner. Also the price is unbeatable. Wouldn't dare rent a hotel when I could stay at a place that made me feel like I was at a "home away from home!"

Had to book alternative lodging

The apartment appeared clean however there was an overpowering odor for which we could not locate the source. Only stayed and hour and a half before booking an alternative location for the weekend. The host has waited more than a week to respond to my request for a refund which they denied.

Some pros but a deal breaker con. The apartment is an easy 15 minute walk to Gerard Park for festival & apartment was at first glance neat & presentable & the owner was very sweet on the phone when we called about a WiFi issue. The a/c, WiFi & TV worked great. Unfortunately, the longer we were there, 3 nights, it seemed more like a man’s crash pad. Everything was very very old & in need of some basic attention to details-like the very dirty trash can in bathroom the wobbly toilet seat that gave up on our second day and the closet doors hanging on by a thread. But the real deal breaker was when we came back to the apartment on our last night we found out we weren’t there alone. We saw live roaches. Ugh!

Great stay!

This home was a perfect location for our stay in Lafayette during Festival International. The location was about a 20 minute walk from downtown, or a 5 minute drive. The accommodations were clean and comfortable, with safe parking for our car. I stayed with my boyfriend and my parents, and we had plenty enough space for us to enjoy the weekend together. The hosts were quick and helpful communicators. We had delightful daiquiris at Frankie's, closeby! Would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

Quality rental

Overall it's a quality rental, great location, dated interior, but exactly what I was looking for. Quiet neighborhood at night, outside of occasional normal city noise.
