First time to Arles

Great spot- easy to walk to everything which we liked. Parking is interesting but manageable once we understood it.

Checked all the boxes!

The charm of the cottage added to the charm of Arles. Pick a cobbled alley outside the door and follow it to some beguiling destination: The Rhone River, the farmer's market, "Starry Night" museum, sidewalk cafes and restaurants. The charms of present and past vie for your pleasure--of its bougainville-lined alleys and its vibrant, Van-Gogh like brush-strikes of light--all suffused with a perfumed memory of its Arleienne past. No wonder Rick Steves prefers Arles for his base when exploring Provencal!

Nice appartment in the centre of Arles

We enjoyed our stay at this nice appartment , which is very well located in the old centre of Arles. The neighbourhood is quiet. The boulangerie 50m down the lane sells excellent Croissants and Baguettes. The owner has very kind assistants who do the check-in and check-out personally and are very kind and heldpful. The equipment of the kitchen is a bit old, but we had everything we needed. The bathroom is modern and clean. The heating for colder day works well (we stayed there around Easter in April) . On the roof terrace you hear the close highway a bit, but it did not disturb us too much. The beds are comfortable. Our daughther enjoyed her own room on the second floor.

fünf Tage in Arles

So eine gut ausgestattete Küche habe ich noch in keiner Ferienwohnung erlebt. Leider konnten wir die schöne Terrasse nicht so intensiv nutzen, tagsüber war es zu heiß und abends gab es Unmengen an Kriepelmücken. Wer den zweiten Raum als Schlafraum nutzen möchte, sollte besser nur außerhalb der heißen Sommermonate Juli und August buchen oder unempfindlich gegen die Hitze sein. Ansonsten aber eine sehr schöne Wohnung, gut gelegen, ein äußerst freundlicher Consierge, der unsere Koffer schon vor dem Check-in in Empfang nahm und dann direkt zur Wohnung brachte - super Service.

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt

Das Haus hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Es fehlte an nichts. Es ist sehr zentral. Der Balkon war gross und man konnte gut dort sitzen. Die Zimmer waren geräumig und sehr gemütlich. Die Kommunikation mit dem Concierge hat super geklappt. Einfach alles zufriedenstellend.

Très jolie maison typiquement arlésienne avec terrasse

Quartier de la Roquette, authentique et agréable, dans une rue calme. Maison sur 3 niveaux, comme une maison d'amis, l'opposé du style "Ikea-maison témoin "avec moustiquaire dans la chambre principale. Accueil humain . Je recommande !
