This renovated 4 bedrooms + 3 full bathrooms apartment offers a fully stocked kitchen, a laundry room, high-speed internet & a 200 sf terrace. It is surrounded by restaurants, cafés, shopping & many attractions. Some free street parking can be found at times, but we also offer other parking options ($25 per car, per night). The metro, Mont-Royal Ave & St-Laurent Blvd are at less than a 5 min walk. Whether it is for a family vacation or a business trip, this apartment is perfect.

In this space, you will have access to the whole apartment on the 2nd floor. There are 12 steps and NO elevator.

Le Plateau Mont-Royal is one of the most popular and vibrant places to stay in Montreal with plenty of shops and cafés, "mom and pop" stores as well as your classics.

From the apartment, Le Metro Mont-Royal is 5 min walk. Taking the subway – metro – is the easiest and cheapest way to get around Montreal to avoid traffic and parking tickets.

Taxis or Uber are easily found in Montreal and there is a phone in the apartment you can use to order one.


Other notes:

- This apartment has an indoor camera (facing the front street only- NO inside view). No live feed. For break-in prevention only.

- You will be asked to provide your email, phone number once the booking is confirmed by VRBO.

- You must be at least 25 years of age to book this apartment. Anyone under the age of 21 not accompanied by a parent will need to provide the parent or legal guardian's consent in writing.

- No 3rd party reservation will be accepted. The person making the reservation must be present during the stay but doesn't need to be the 1st to arrive.

- Visitors and additional guests are not permitted on the premises unless prior approval has been granted by the owners.

- Non-smoking policy: Cigarettes and cigars are tolerated only if smoked OUTSIDE. Marijuana is NOT permitted on the premises, not even on the patio. When smoking outside, please do not through cigarette butts on the ground. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

- Parties are not permitted. If a noise complaint comes up, you will be notified and if the noise does not stop, you may be asked to leave.


IMPORTANT:
- With the rise of car theft in Montreal, anyone driving in should consider bringing a steering wheel lock bar or any other device that could keep the car from driving away (like a car booth). Anyone driving SUVs, especially Toyota Highlander, Honda CRV, any type of Lexus, Jeep (all kinds), Pickup trucks, or Toyota Rav4 Hybrid is encouraged to use indoor lots (the closest is located at 400 rue de Malines, a 10-minute walk away).
As a courtesy, we have a steering wheel bar available that guests can borrow.

Our onsite parking will be reserved for guests with mobility issues or small infants (with a car make and model that will fit in the space). Only smaller sedans will fit in the space. C$25 + tax/night.
It is MANDATORY to use both the steering wheel lock bar and boot while parked in our reserved onsite parking.

Great place, great location

Stayed with a group of 9 for a long weekend, and found the place to be very neat, and very comfortable. We were able to walk to a number of the areas we were visiting, and the rest were either a short metro ride or Uber away. Would recommend!

Spacious, clean, tastefully decorated apartment in the heart of the Plateau. We've stayed there two years in a row and couldn't have had a better stay. Our hosts were excellent, available to help us with all of our needs.

Wonderful stay!

We stayed in town for a scientific conference and could not have loved this place more. Everything is astonishingly clean, perfectly equipped, quiet and yet smack right in the middle of the Plateau life. On top of all of this, great communication with Frederique and Bernhard. Wow

When we walked in, everyone was wowed. Very nice apartment. Very good location on St. Denis. Well equipped kitchen. Only problem was with parking. Very dense neighborhood, difficult to drive and impossible to park. We used the host recommended parking at the hotel 10 minutes away. Next time to Montreal, we'll stick with public transit.

A Great is it to Montreal

We were three generations looking to spend time together and explore Montreal. This rental with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms was ideally located in the city to do just that. The management was friendly, responsive and informative.

Great Apartment in a Fun Neighborhood

Great neighborhood, Great apartment

Communication with hosts was seamless, easy to get in and we secured additional parking through the owners which was helpful. The house is well appointed, plenty of beds and kitchen supplies. The neighborhood is wonderful, being right on Saint Denis was so convenient. We were a family of four, there was room for all of us and we probably could have fit another family in there comfortably. Oh and our kids loved the showers/ the kids with all the extra nozzles for a spa like experience!

Most well managed place-felt like a concierge stay

We cannot say enough how fabulous your place was. Everything was easy and it was so well thought out and clean. Your constant communication and the link to all to do were so helpful. I can say that we’ve never we stayed in a more thoughtfully prepared place. It felt like we had more I do at our fingertips than a concierge would give at a hotel. Just awesome.

First time in Montreal

Guess guide was very informative, including parking procedures. Beds were comfortable to sleep in with good bedding. Neighborhood is easy access to subway, $19 for a 3 day pass, got us pretty much anywhere we needed to go. All other places very walkable. Neighborhood had several breakfast, lunch, dinner, ice cream and coffee options. Loved this place. Worked well for 2 families of 4.

Completely Delightful

A family of three generations visited a McGill senior. With various people coming and going, this space is welcoming and embracing with deep comfort and sparkling cleanliness. The neighborhood is varied and fun; we walked all over from this center. We ate out or ate in with easy deight. It was easy to live together in a space that supported a group; it was seamlessly easy to enjoy. Thank you!

The apartment was great! We stayed with 3 kids and 2 adults for 5 days over Thanksgiving weekend. Had some friends over with their 3 kids for dinner a couple of nights with lots of space. Lots of room with a nice wide open kitchen and living room. Also a great plus was that it was on a single level off the street into the apartment. Many of the other places we looked at were on the second and third floors. Great hosts in a great neighborhood! I would highly recommend!

Location, Location

Overall we had a wonderful stay and the layout was perfect for our extended family. Property was very well located however we were a little disappointed that from the time we viewed the property to the time we actually stayed there (6 months) it was a little worse for wear. We were under the impression it would be painted and given a total refresh just before our stay. For its price point some things were lacking - sheets could use an upgrade, dollar store products were a surprise, and upholstered furniture and area rug needed a good cleaning. The front steps are rather hazardous for those with mobility issues - not great curb appeal either. On the positive side - the hosts were fabulous and did provide things in a timely manner when asked. If it wasn't on the high end of the rental rate it would be a 5 star - we were just expecting something exceptional.

This rental was perfect for us. We were 6 adults and 2 children (toddlers). The apartment was spotless, and more than well supplied with anything we might want. There was everything we could possibly have needed to prepare and cook our meals (and we like to do both!). Even the needs of the children were well looked after: children's cutlery, plates, bowls, cups, a stroller, "play yard", even small stools. Ample cleaning supplies, great washer/dryer, vacuum and on and on. The apartment itself was spacious and light filled. The lounge area was large enough to accommodate us all so we enjoyed evenings of talking and playing games. The bedrooms are generously sized with ample storage space. The balcony was huge! It is situated in a great spot with any type of store you might need, restaurants and a great park within a short walk. Parking was easy, reasonable, and around the block. The owners always responded within an hour or so, occasionally within minutes. The instructions they provided were detailed and thorough. We have stayed in many, many VRBOs and this one ranks as one of the best.

Charming home, terrific location

Great restaurants with wide variety of cuisines nearby, fun mix of shops (Ceramic Cafe was a hit with our kids for sure), and good access to metro. Beds were comfortable, nicely decorated and all amenities we needed. We will book this home again on our next visit.

Location and stylish

The apartment was fantastic right in the heart of the city. Spacious accommodations, we’ll equipped with many extras! The showers were amazing. What more could a family ask for?

We very much enjoyed our stay in this spacious, comfortable, lovely apartment on a wonderful street in a great city. Our hosts were extremely attentive to all details, but not intrusively so. On the first night of our stay we had some issues with late night/early morning partying going on in the apartment below us, but Frédérique took care of it swiftly and it was blessedly quiet for the rest of the weekend. Thanks so much for a great weekend and we hope to stay here again.

Bernhard and Frederique spent almost 20 years traveling the world on cruise ships working in several departments. This is where they met and after a true Love Boat story (they literally met on the Love Boat!), they decided to elect permanent residence in Montreal where Frederique was born and where they spent the last few years working in the property management field.

Because they love it so much, they decided to buy this 2nd rental property located in the best part of town, Le Plateau Mont-Royal and to start welcoming people from around the world.

In 2016, their daughter Abigail was born and so was FAB HomeRentals. It just worked out perfectly. F for Frederique, A for Abigail and B for Bernhard. FAB!

The location is really unbeatable. Two bedrooms have their own full bathroom and there is a 3rd full bathroom to share. The property is huge and the terrace is the best to relax after a long day exploring the city!
