We had a perfect stay in this location! It is clean and efficient and housed our group of adults very well. The host is extremely accommodating and responsive. Great choice!
Property was very clean and had everything we needed. Good location - walkable to most attractions. I reached out to the property manager a few times and he responded very quickly.
Great spot for a group - property was exactly as shown online, well appointed with towels and soap, and easy to come/go from. David was responsive to emails & a great host! Highly recommend.
Apartment was immaculately clean, spacious and included plenty of fresh towels. David is a fantastic host! He’s great at communicating and responding to questions about the apartment.
We stayed here because it was a super close walk to the WWII museum.
We enjoyed our stay. Beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked with pans and dishes.
Parking can be tricky on the weekend. Especially on a parade festive night. Download the Spot Hero app to find available parking and lots. There are many!
We liked the short walk down to a local market for drinks and snacks, and especially enjoyed the Rusty Nail/Sidecar restaurant that is within a short walk.
The noise level outside on a weekend night is pretty loud and may be a problem for some people. It is after all a party town! It was very quiet during the week days.
Over all we had a great stay and would recommend for ease of getting around to Bourbon Street and all the other hot spots in New Orleans. It was a great place to come back to and relax after a day of sightseeing!
Maybe it was just the week we were there, but the building was loud. The unit above us was very loud all hours of the day and night,. Street noise was also louder than we expected.
The apartment is spacious and CLEAN. We heard a little street noise, but was expected. Air was nice and COLD which was welcome after walking 7 miles in the heat :) The couch was well worn but was functional and comfortable. The only complaints I have are pillows are FLAT, but that’s my preference, and mattress covers on the twin beds are plastic which sweat you to death while sleeping. I def understand the need for them but maybe ones that are lined, blackout curtains are needed for the front bedroom. We would recommend this place 💯
The location is awesome with easy access to the WWII Museum and local restaurants and bars! T
We stayed here so we could enjoy Thanksgiving with family. I was able to conveniently prepare my dishes at the rental then attend the family celebration!
We visited the WWII museum on Friday (awesome) and walked around the French Quarter and Bourbon Street on Saturday! So convenient and parking was on the street. We were even able to find free spots!
There are lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance which means other people may party later than you! (No fault to the rental.. they provide ear plugs on each bedside nightstand). Just thought it was worth mentioning if you are a light sleeper.
We went specifically for our father to go to the museum. The location to the museum was perfect.
Yes there was some noise in the early morning and some late at night but there are ear plugs if you need them.
The couch is not the best for relaxing after a long day of walking, it could be replaced. More lighting in the living room would be great.
Maybe some brochures and information would be great for visitors to look at once they arrive.
On a trip to visit NOLA and the WWII museum and this property couldn’t have been more perfect for us. Spotless, safe, comfortable, and convenient to the museum, the trolly, and within walking distance of the French Quarter. Beds were comfortable and the AC worked like a dream. If you are a light sleeper, earplugs are provided since the unit is on street level and can be noisy. The Magazine Pizza restaurant around the corner is open until Midnight and is delicious. David, our host, was wonderful to work with and so accommodating. A helpful tip is to call for cabs/ride shares to pick you up at the Higgins hotel as the property for some reason is hard for them to find
This was a clean and comfortable property in a great, central spot for four friends meeting up for a three day visit to NOLA. Very comfortable beds, good sized kitchen, nice TV, good little dining setup. Bathrooms were nice and clean, fluffy towels.
We weren't aware that one of the bedrooms has no windows. (We might have missed that in the listing! ) It was tricky to keep it cool at night while not freezing the rest of the apartment but we managed.
And the bathroom layout is quirky. One of them is en suite to a bedroom which is fine. And then you walk through the second bathroom to get to the second bedroom ( the windowless one). That means whoever is in the third bedroom can't use a bathroom without disturbing people in one of the bedrooms. (Esp. because we had to keep the interior bedroom door open because of the lack of ventilation) Unusual and a little inconvenient, but again manageable.
Neat place with all you need and 15-20 walk to French quarter but away from it so it’s not over run. It’s first floor so there is a bit of noise at night but to be expected and host nicely had ear plugs provided. Stayed with my parents and kids. Kids room was nicely tucked away.
We enjoyed our stay here, the place was super cute. Loved the complimentary coffee since we arrived too late to go out for provisions. Beds were comfy and 2 of the 3 bedrooms were very roomy. The master shower was huge! There are lots of great restaurants and bars within a short walk. Nesbits grocery down the street was small and expensive but had most of what we needed. The only negatives I would report is that the room with twin beds is through the hall bath, making access to and from the room impossible when the bathroom was in use. Also that bedroom had no windows. Great for making little kids sleep a little later, not so great for grown-ups who use the sun to wake them up. Also those twin beds had a mattress protector that made the bed feel hot.
All in all a great stay!
Looking for a quick trip to NOLA. Short walk to the acquarium, ferry and yummy restaurants. Cochon, mother’s and Uber eats delivery made our stay special, tasty and easy. Downtown experience of slightly noisy streets but still a hood nights sleep. There is a cute little shopette a block away with sundries, ice cream and more. Free parking is available on Poeffrey. We parked and didn’t need to leave for the entirety of our stay. As with any city, I would not walk with kids late at night. We would eat early and close of we were eating out for dinner after dark. This is a residential area near the WWII museum.
Urban somewhat industrial property in the warehouse district; excellent location. Very comfortable for our party of 5. Easy access to excellent restaurants and walking distance to French Quarter as well. We loved it!
My children and I had a wonderful time at this property. The location is perfect for great walks to so many locations. You are also just a couple of blocks from the St. Charles Street Car. We enjoyed our stay and only wish we had more time! We will be back!
