Perfect base to explore the area

Dorothy's Cottage proved to be the perfect place from which to explore Northumberland. Equipped with everything you need for family self-catering holiday, Dorothy's Cottage was very clean, comfortable and spacious enough for four adults and two very lively children, with a large shared garden at the back of the property for games and relaxing in the sunshine. A 5 - 10 minute drive to the lovely beach at Alnmouth and just a bit further on to Alnwick, Dorothy's Cottage is perfectly situated for exploring the area. We received a lovely welcome, with some locally-produced milk, jam and biscuits from the property owners, which set the tone for what proved to be a great holiday. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this lovely holiday cottage and will definitely be returning.
