This magnificent property is able to sleep a total of four people and whilst both bedrooms have exposed beams, the master bedroom also enjoys the added bonus of a balcony with magnificent views towards Sugarloaf mountain and Talgarth.

Situated in a rural position in the beautiful grounds of the owner's home, just one mile from the pretty village of Gilwern, This magnificent stone-built structure offers a unique holiday location. Comfortable and spacious, the property offers a huge sitting room with dining area and large open fire as well as a well-equipped country kitchen and two large bedrooms. With the medieval town of Abergavenny and the beautiful Bannau Brycheiniog National Park (Brecon Beacons) nearby, visitors will be spoilt for choice when deciding on things to do.
Please note: this property accepts children aged 12 and over only. Sorry, no electric charging available at the property, but local charge points are available within 1 mile.

Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD player, stereo/CD player, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel, power and starter pack for open fire inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Sorry, no electric charging available at the property, but local charge points are available within 1 mile. Small mature garden with garden furniture (shared use of owner's large garden available by prior arrangement). Off road parking for two cars. One well-behaved dog welcome (£50 refundable Good Housekeeping bond payable on arrival on bookings with a dog). Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 10 mins walk. Note: Dogs must be kept under strict control at all times. Please note that bookings that are 7 days or longer need to start on a Friday.

Town: The picturesque village of Gilwern, situated amidst the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park (Brecon Beacons), offers visitors many amenities including traditional pubs, shops and a great fish and chip shop. Covering approximately 520 square miles, the National Park surrounds the village providing excellent walking, cycling and bird watching as well as great salmon and trout fishing on the river Usk. Abergavenny, the aptly named "Gateway to Wales" is nestled in the nearby hills and has something for everyone. With its many indoor and outdoor markets, magnificent castle and museums this medieval market town is sure to delight any visitor. Offering fantastic walks for all abilities as well as its own vineyard, the nearby mountain of Sugarloaf is well worth visiting. No matter what time of year, this wonderful little village has something in the area to suit all tastes and budgets.
