The Green Cottage is located in old Ocean Springs within walking distance of restaurants, shops, grocery, and harbors. House is on one level, two entrances with one step up to enter from the carport entrance and no steps from the porch door. Space is about 1200 sf with two bedrooms, two full baths, and a den that converts to a bedroom. House is about 100 yards from the Inner Harbor Park, which has public tennis courts, a boardwalk for bird watching and fishing, and a gazebo for picnicking. The local boat launch is about half a mile away, Shearwater Pottery about a quarter mile, and Walter Anderson Museum of Art six blocks. The Frank Gehry-designed George Ohr Museum is just across the bay bridge in Biloxi. Gulf Islands National Seashore with museum, picnic areas, and Park Service boat launch is 5 miles away. You can bring your own boat (there's room in the driveway) or arrange for a fishing charter or a private guide to take you out to nearby Horn and Ship islands, part of the Gulf Islands National Seashore wilderness area. The Biloxi Bay Bridge with its pedestrian walkway and bicycle path is about a mile away. Front Beach, a mile away, has a pedestrian walkway for strollers and joggers. Gulf Hills golf course is about two miles away. Two bicycles provided. Laser printer and computer monitor are available on request. Please note maximum occupancy of four and restrictions regarding smoking and vaping (neither is permitted anywhere on property). Rental for Cruisin' the Coast is a minimum of one week. House has TWO bedrooms and a den that converts to a third (can't get software to correct bedroom count in this listing).

Pleasant stay

We enjoyed our stay immensely. Home was comfortable, clean, nicely furnished and in good condition. The yard is large. No steps to speak of, just one step up into the house. Bathroom has a grab bar at the commode. Kitchen appears well stocked with adequate cooking pots and utensils. Ocean Springs is a beautiful little Gulf Coast town and it is my hope it stays that way.

Perfect EduCation Home Across From The End Of The Road!

It was like staying at your favorite grandma's lake home. I stayed for 2 weeks to celebrate my birthday, take a 2 week Real Estate Broker course, and celebrate father's day! The home was very cozy and had more than enough comforts. More than enough kitchen and bathroom essentials, supplies, and extras. The owner created a space that is more than welcoming and gives a sense of familiarity too. She has a guest book that many a guests (lots of repeat guests' entry) have filled out and left a piece of their memories behind in the form of words! I will be going back and staying often to stay at the Perfect AnyCation Home Across From The End Of The Road!

A perfect getaway in a charming town!

A very lovely property. I wish I could say that we were staying there for vacation, unfortunately it was for a funeral. It did allow my family to congregate and I was able to cook for the widow of my uncle, which was really nice. I would definitely stay here again. It was in a good location, close access to everything, but also provided good privacy.

Love the location

I stayed for 29 days in Feb. It is located in a great area. So many things to do but also a good place to just relax. Manager and owner very nice and quick to respond to questions. I would like to stay there again. Very homey and comfortable

Lovely comfortable cottage

Can't say enough about how perfect the Green Cottage was for us. Not too fancy just well stocked from kitchen to bath to bedrooms with very comfortable beds, couches and roomy screened front porch. Neighborhood amenities include walks to inner harbor and bike rides around the quiet streets. Communication with owner is excellent. We will be back.

Our week long vacation

This house worked out perfect for our family of four. This has been our fourth trip to ocean springs, this time with our daughter and her friend and we couldn’t have picked a better home to stay at. We were able to walk everywhere if needed as this was close enough to downtown the walk was enjoyable. Also this house had everything that you could even need, it was definitely like you were at home.

Green Cottage in Ocean Springs

We really enjoyed our relaxing stay in the Green Cottage. The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do in OS and the surrounding area. Very nice "homie" feeling, and front and back porch were amazing in the mornings and evenings.

Cozy cottage

This is my second stay at this cozy cottage. The cottage is comfortable, has nice amenities, and is located in a great neighborhood close to the Gulf and sightseeing opportunities. The gardens and trees are lovely, and the back yard patio has a firepit and a gas grill. And the artistic community of Ocean Springs always delights me. I am already planning a return visit.

Lovely quiet cottage

Charming Home

This lovely cottage fit my needs perfect while in town for business. The home was clean with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Very quiet neighborhood and beautiful yard. Rosemarie was the perfect host. She was always available if you had any questions. Rosemarie and Audrey went out of their way to accommodate my needs. I will definitely be staying here every time I visit Ocean Springs.

A Perfect Fit

Ocean springs is a lovely art community with Southern Hospitality. The historic cotttage was a perfect place, feeeling like home immmediately. 25th Anniversary celebration

This is a lovely home. It's in a quiet neighborhood and just a short drive to Biloxi and about an hour and a half to New Orleans. Rosemarie is such a nice person and Audrey Ann, the property manager is a delight and she knows good fishing spots!! Very clean. Would highly recommend this property.

Wonderful Place to Stay

This is a really wonderful and extremely comfortable home. All the amenities and great location. Quiet and peaceful and surrounded by trees. Very accessible to local restaurants, museum, waterfront, etc. and easy driving distance to Wildlife Refuges and Nature Preserves. Look forward to returning.

Marvelous Experience!!

We both were so pleased with our 4 night stay in this truly lovely cottage. Everything was ready when we arrived, and we were comfortable from the moment we set foot in the door. Bed was comfortable, kitchen was well-appointed, tvs were super, and the screened porch was absolutely delightful for morning coffee and late day wine. Our dog loved his morning walk down to the harbor, and the town of Ocean Springs is so close......lots of cute shops and fun restaurants there to explore. If you want the higher energy vibe of the Biloxi casinos, you're only a short drive away. Rosemarie was so easy to communicate with, always very prompt in answering any questions. By now she seems much more like a friend than a property owner. We've rented several properties through VRBO and have never been disappointed, but we would put the Green Cottage at the top of the list!

I fell in love with Ocean Springs the first time I visited. I bought this house 48 hours later.

What makes this property unique

I enjoy the beautiful, green surroundings, the quiet, the friendly neighbors, proximity to the Gulf and its little harbors, the wildlife , the art and pottery community, and morning coffee on the front porch. My favorite walks are across the Biloxi bridge and along East Beach.
