8/10 Good

lovely cottage

The cottage had all essentials, including iron, hairdryer, kitchen roll etc. It was clean and on arrival there were scones and jam. Lovely comfortable bed and a bath with shower (most cottages only have a shower). There wasnt a washer/dryer, however the owners were next door, and offered to do any washing for us. There was a wood stove, but we didnt need it as the central heating was timed and warm enough (also enough to dry our boots / waterproofs as we had rain every day!) The location was off the beaten track, quite a drive along a narrow road, so take all essentials with you as there were no shops nearby.
