Wilderness Club at Big Cedar offers the ultimate family-friendly retreat leaving the impression of rustic elegance and ideal extended family vacations! There, you can enjoy the unique charms of the resort's wilderness lodge architecture and its beautiful natural scenery.

Approximately 450 square feet, this spaciously warm and homey state of the art studio features 1 King Bed and 1 Sofa bed in the living area including a kitchenette, bathroom and laundry is in the common area. Maximum of 4 occupants.

The person checking in must be 18 years of age (or older). With this notion, please prepare a VALID ID and credit card in your name. A $100 Pre-Authorization from any major credit card upon checking in is required. Cash is not accepted. After purchase you will receive an email confirmation showing your name on the reservation as the guest checking in within 14 days of check in date. Please bring a valid form of Picture ID. However, if you would like to change the name of the person checking in after you have provided this information, there will be a $99.00 name change fee. Any damages will be charge upon check-out.

Resort check- in time is 4 p.m. and check-out time is 10 a.m. The nearest airport to Wilderness Club at Big Cedar is Branson Airport (BKG) which is 9 miles by car respectively.

Hence, if you have any concerns, our office are open 24 hours to respond to your requests. For here at Wilderness Club at Big Cedar we ensure that your stay is comfortable and well-served to your satisfaction.

Weekend Getaway

We had a great time at Big Cedar Wilderness lodge. Check in and checkout were smooth. I forgot a few things in the closet and they were very helpful, left them at the front desk for easy pickup. The only complaint is the thin walls, the kids upstairs were jumping off furniture and wrestling and it sounded like they were coming through the ceiling until 11PM every night. Overall it was a great stay! We loved the pools, Top of the rock, and bingo!

Generally a good property - clean and nice unit. A bit noisy from guests in unit above. Given a larger unit than reserved.

Great but be prepared to possibly move rooms

On night 2 of our 4 night stay, I got a call saying my reservation was coming to an end, and my family would have to move rooms for the next 2 nights of our stay. After awhile, they finally worked it out, and we didn’t have to move. I just found it weird that I was not informed of this ahead of time. Everything else went smoothly. We were surprised of the size and comfort of the pull out couch.

Wonderful Property!

Visited for a family reunion and was pleasantly surprised with everything available in the room! Lovely view, quiet environment. Slight errors on the check-in and check-out dates but was quickly resolved. Kitchenette area was perfectly sized for my needs!

Super bowl get away

We just love it at Big Cedar.rather we stay in a cabin or on the wilderness side. The people are friendly and the plasses are clean Can't wait to go back

Great Weekend

The room was very nice. Only drawback was its ground floor location which had no distance view due to trees. Had a slight problem with check-in when the room was not ready and we were on a tight schedule to prepare for an engagement gathering.

Check-in was at 4 PM and we didn’t get in the room till after five maybe 5:30 PM we’re not upset because I know you’re limited on employees but we had to get ready for the concert and it made us late due to the heavy traffic but really the room was very clean!

Fun Time

There is no shortage of activities and amazing views. Our family of three enjoyed our vacation and we hope to do it at least every other year. Check-in was a little confusing as we were guest of Wilderness Lodge and not Big Cedar but we figured it out. The Wilderness Lodge rooms are small for families but you are not in the room much. I packed breakfast, snacks, and a meal that could be heated easily so we didn't have to eat out every meal. Access to the shuttles were amazing. We parked the car on Saturday and never got in again until Wednesday (day of check-out) due to the shuttle service. The Labor Day celebration was excellent and fun for the family. You can use all the free activities available with good planning and minimize spending on extras.

Beautiful location with lots of activities

We had a wonderful time in a beautiful location. We enjoyed horseback riding, the spa and just spending time in nature. We definitely recommend giving this place a try. Very happy and plan to return someday.

Birthday Getaway

Booking and stay was great. Went for a quick weekend birthday trip with my wife. She enjoyed the stay and location. Food, pool, massages were as expected. Great place for a quick couples retreat!
