About this property

This tiny cabin located on 38 private acres has much more to offer than a normal vacation rental. Whether you spend the day at Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort, hiking one of the many trails, or just relaxing in the hot tub overlooking a tranquil waterfall that flows into a fish-filled pond, you’re sure to have fun! The cabin features a well-equipped kitchen with coffee, tea and spices, queen bed lounge area downstairs, crawl in cozy sleeping loft , a large bathroom space and an outdoor paradise. Sip coffee on the patio or make a cocktail and sit by the fire pit. Though it may be little in size, this tiny home has no shortage of amazing amenities that make it a great place to stay while visiting Hot Springs.
We are located in a rural area with a private gate entrance to the property so lots of privacy. This cabin has no shared spaces. Owners do live on property to ensure they are available when needed.
The Time Out cabin is a different vacation experience with an adventurous style of lodging. Due to the tiny cabin size, the sleeping loft is a crawl in limited space area. Please make sure this cabin is for you before booking. It’s here! A full size queen bed/ lounge space will be replacing the sofa downstairs so guests will have a more comfortable experience and another option for sleeping other than the loft space. No more than two people per cabin.

Cozy in a storm

We arrived in the middle of a severe thunderstorm. The rain continued the days we were there. The cabin access road washed out. I contacted Theresa and within a half an hour she had opened her private gate for us to gain access to the highway. Wonderful communication, wonderful environment, super cozy and clean The vibe is one of being alone in the middle of a beautiful hardwood forest. The water feature is natural. The hot tub is perfect. I can’t say enough about how much I love this place.

We are not tiny house people

First the pros. The outside area is fun. Nice hot tub and the little pool would be fun if it were summer. Nice water feature too. The cons, the loft is really not practical for two adults or a couple to sleep. Because this, there is a bed right next to the front door which kind of doubles as a seating area. You will need to bring blankets the ones provided where inadequate. The bathroom sink didn't drain. This is a tiny space to occupy, however they made room for no joke about 25 signs telling you the rules and other information. I was a bit much in my opinion. Check in is later and check out are earlier than other properties which cuts about 2 hour off your time, however that wasn't a problem.

Excellent place to relax

This cabin was just perfect. Very clean, three deferent places to sit outside. Close to Hot Springs. The management answered every question and helped with every need. There was also a cat that was very friendly and wanted to hangout and get some wonderful petting. This made for a great 25th anniversary and my wife’s birthday as well. We stayed 6 full days and never had a problem.

Honest review

There’s a few cameras in the trees that record audio and video (per the 4pm check in email) It’s a bit off putting knowing that the owner can watch and hear your conversations. Once at the door to the cabin your met with lots and lots AND LOTS of cute little chalkboard signs with rules and the fines for breaking them. ( think professor Dolores Umbridge from Harry Potter) kind of takes you out of the experience thinking about all the things you could be doing wrong. They were attached to every thing inside the cabin. One sign stated that checkout is before 10am and at 10:15am your card will be charged 75. Others were about how to clean up after yourself and how to put things away. Bathroom sink doesn’t drain well, shower is very open so it gets cold. 2 towels were given but they smelled like they sat in a washer too long. We chose to sleep up in the loft but bring your own blankets because all your given is one thin coverlet blanket. The first morning we made coffee and walked into the bathroom and came right back and there was a cockroach/waterbug sitting in the spoon. We immediately notified the owners and they promptly came to the cabin. I showed them the picture of the bug and they assured us that it was a water bug, not a roach. We decided to take their word for it and stay the rest of our time but that night while asleep a “waterbug” crawled across my husbands head and then down my arm where I squashed it. We packed up the rest of our things and left at 6am this mornin

The property was tucked away five miles outside of Hot Springs AR. This little cabin back in the woods was private and tranquil. Away from the city lights and noise. The personal hot tub on the deck was perfect. My wife and I had a wonderful time celebrating our 30 years of marriage.

Tranquility at its finest

Our stay was very peaceful and tranquil! The cabin has several amenities and provisions. We were able to relax in the hot tub, cook or grill, enjoy a movie and play board games. A must stay for anyone looking for isolation not far from hot springs

Cabin in the woods.

We had a wonderful stay! It was exactly as shown. Clean, quiet and lovely. Very comfortable mattress, and as previously mentioned not much room in the loft so watch your head. Very thoughtful touches and amenities throughout with signs indicating everything you need to know. Pretty water feature outside with nice landscaping made it extra special.

Quiet and relaxing

The outdoor area was our favorite. Quiet, private, and relaxing. The sound of the waterfall and frogs could put anyone to sleep. The tiny home was surprisingly spacious with the exception of the bed. It was very comfortable but a little awkward to have to crawl around up there to prevent hitting your head. Would recommend and stay again!

Much needed break

After 10 months of stressful family events, this little cabin surrounded by trees and quiet was just what I needed. I loved the privacy, the fish pond, and that hot tub! I also loved the fact that check in was as easy as using a code for the gate and for the cabin door. That also gave me a sense of security since I was traveling alone. The cabin itself was immaculate and cozy. The only hesitation I would have when recommending this little cabin to someone would be to make sure you are able to climb the ladder to the loft and crawl to the bed. It is a really soft, comfortable bed, but could be hard to get to if you are very tall or have any knee problems. Otherwise, you will enjoy a peaceful, restful stay.

Cute, cozy little paradise!

Cabin and yard is super cute, cozy, and clean. Decorations were modern chic with extra touches. Fell in love with it when we arrived. The loft bed was comfortable although not a lot of head room...which was described in the listing and the pics. The hot tub was so peaceful and relaxing. Nice little relaxing get away. A little disappointed when we drove up for the listing stated no other houses within a mile. There is another house/cabin right behind the property (which may be the owners). The advertised seclusion was the main reason that we booked this property but we did not notice them much. The coffee pot has different ways of making either pods or grounds with inserts. I tried every which way and always ended up with a lot of coffee grounds in my cup. We did not have to use the pull out bed for we only had 2 adults but we did try to use it to watch a movie in night. It is not comfortable and the head of the bed is broken and leans way down so it really cannot be used as a bed. Overall, what an amazing, cute, relaxing cabin. I really would of given it 5 stars except for the water. It has a really strong sulfur smell and every time we turned it on, whether it be the sink or shower, the entire cabin would smell like rotten eggs! You can taste it while brushing your teeth and felt as if we smelled that way after showering as well. It may just be a well thing or perhaps the water had not been run in a while but we avoided turning on the water as much as possible and never could take another shower which was very disappointing!

The pictures didn’t do the place justice. We came to hot springs for a quick weekend trip and we loved the place so much we tried tonfigure out how to get off work for a few more days so we could stay longer. We can’t wait to come back.
