My family, 6 adults, 3 children, 1 baby, loved the location of the property. It is close to everything ( St. Peter's Basilica, Vatican, market, bars, restaurants ). The 4 bedrooms and 4 baths made for perfect sleeping arrangements. Federica was very accommodating in setting up the beds the way we wanted and getting a crib for the baby.
Now for the bad news. The floors were filthy and the rooms really need some fresh paint. One terrible think that happened and was not handled properly at all. We arrived on a Wednesday afternoon and were met by Gianaluca. He is like the apartment manager. He was very nice and showed us around the apartment. We went to the market, bought groceries, and loaded up the refrigerator.(meats, cheese, milk etc) That evening the refrigerator stopped working. I called Gianluca, he came over and couldn't fix it. He said he would get a repair person there the next day. Thursday comes and the repair person comes and it can't be fixed. I call Federica and I get Claudia ( one of the owners). I tell her all our food has been ruined and we have no way of keeping anything cold. Thursday evening, she brings us a tiny fridge. It was big enough to put the baby's milk in it, and that was about it. Friday afternoon they finally deliver a new refrigerator. They plug it the middle of the hall and leave it there for the rest of our stay. By the way, we were told we couldn't use it until later in that evening. So, We had no refrigerator or freezer for two and a half days and all our food spoiled.
No apology, no mention of compensation, no nothing. Very disappointed.
Something very strange about this property that others should be aware of . Sara Greffi is listed as the owner. It was very confusing that I never got responses from her. I still don't really know who Federica is . She corresponded with me the most. I think Claudia is an owner, but I am really not sure.
