Ellen's Escape in Rockford Bay/Lake CDA — no wake zone and family friendly.
The house has had some recent updates and is ready for your family vacation.
Ellen's Escape is a 4 bedroom/2 bath Lake Front House with a great floor plan and a spectacular view from a furnished deck. Only a few minute walk to the neighborhood restaurant/bar and a few steps from your own private beach and dock, Ellen's Escape is located in a prime location in the no-wake zone and gives you and your family the privacy you need.
Accommodates up to 16 guests including children: (1) king bed, (3) queen beds, (1) twin bed bunkbed, (1) twin/full bunkbed with trundle, (1) queen bed sleeper sofa. Any guests over 10 will include an extra charge.
The living room has a large comfortable couch and recliner with flat screen TV. The dining area has a table seating for 8 but can be extended for larger groups upon request. Additional seating can be found at the kitchen bar.
The sliding glass door opens up to the main level deck with a (2) outdoor tables with 2 benches, a couch, 2 chairs, and a swing for you to relax and enjoy gorgeous views of the lake where you will find (2) gas grills. There are steps that lead downstairs, where you will find a game/TV room, and laundry room. The sliding glass door opens up to the lower level porch, where you will find (2) inflatable paddle boards, (2) kayaks, and inflatable toys and life jackets. There is also has an outdoor table with 4 chairs and an additional 6 chairs and 2 loungers.
The main level has (2) bedrooms with a full bath. The first bedroom has a California king bed and the second bedroom has (2) queen beds. The downstairs level has (2) bedrooms and bath. The first bedroom has a queen bed and the second bedroom has (2) bunkbeds.
The kitchen is stocked with everything we think you'll need during your vacation with us. (2) refrigerators, dishwasher, microwave, oven, stovetop, (2) blenders, coffee maker (Keurig and carafe), instapot, griddle, stand alone mixer, ice cream maker, dishes/silverware, a good selection of cookware, utensils, glassware, and much more! We strive to leave all guests with a good supply of:

Ellen's Escape is within walking distance to the neighborhood restaurant/bar and provides public access to the marina and downtown Coeur d'Alene is a quick 22 minute drive that has parks, hiking trails, parks, and restaurants.
Ellen's escape is a non-smoking unit and is dog friendly for (2) dogs 35 lbs and under for an additional fee. If over 35 lbs, a refundable security deposit will be added. (dogs only)

Why they chose this property
We love this part of Lake Coeur d' Alene. It is hidden away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Coeur d' Alene and Spokane but close enough we can get away for the weekend. There is something special about waking up to the sounds of the waves washing up on shore when a fishing boat sails by or drinking your first cup of coffee watching the birds trying to find a fish. It is a little slice of heaven.
What makes this property unique
This home has a spectacular view of lake Coeur d" Alene that can be seen by the large windows off the kitchen and living room. You can sit in the kitchen overlooking the lake or on the full deck off the kitchen and take in the serenity of the lake. It sits on the peaceful part of the lake as it is in the no-wake zone with its own private beach and dock. We are a 5 minute walk away to Shooters, which serves speciality drinks at the bar or you can sit on the deck for a wonderful lunch or dinner.
We also have provided everything that we can think of to make your stay worry free. We have 2 brand new couches, pool table, games, game room with TV and water toys to make your stay as fun as possible.
