Relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery and wildlife with the river right outside the door and views from every room. (Swimming from April through October) The house sleeps 12 people. For groups larger than 10 people, an adjacent Studio bedroom with a Queen and a Bunk bed is available with an 45.00 Housekeeping fee. Please ask at booking for more info.
The kitchen and 3 bathrooms are fully equipped. There is a large Charcoal BBQ, a USA park charcoal BBQ and a fire pit. Enjoy the sunset or morning coffee on the balcony. River rafting season is from April thru end of June. Lake Kaweah is close by for fishing, boating, sailing, windsurfing and kayaking. It is common to see deer, birds and an occasional bear walking down the river. Sequoia National Park is 5 miles away.

Beautiful riverside vacation

Our entire immediate family consisting of 10 adults and 4 children 4 and under, found this well appointed house right on the Kaweah river, with the windows to enjoy it, to be a perfect place for us to gather before Thanksgiving.

Beautiful House with River Access

Perfect house for the family to get together. Every bedroom has a view of the river. Large hosting area with plenty of seating. The option for the extra studio was perfect for the teens to have their own space but be right there. The river was beautiful to look at and water felt amazing but it definitely was stronger than excepted so be careful with younger ones.

House overall and housekeeping upgrade needed

The house is in a beautiful location with the river behind it very great for entertaining teenagers and kids. The house, however, was filthy. The entire house needs an overhaul: the walls need painting, the floors need a good clean up, bathrooms do too, as well as the stove, the kitchen cabinets. The linens and towels need an upgrade. They should hire an exterminador to control the spiders and huge bugs that live inside the house and scare the heck out of guests. The outdoor spaces were also dirty. We couldn’t hang outside either. An immediate recommendation for the cleaning crew is to leave the ACs on prior to guests’ arrival. It took us at least 10 hours to get to a comfortable temperature. It was a horrible experience with all guests feeling desperate with the filth and heat. Unfortunately, we will not come back to this house despite the beautiful river and closeness to the park. 😞 We were extremely disappointed 😔!

Dirty property

Dirty property. Bad smell. Sinks don’t drain. Toilet doors’ locks not working. Bed Sheets were not clean If you are a fun of bugs cockroaches, spiders and mosquitos in the house you should definitely rent this place. The nature was beautiful though.

What a location

My wife did all the research and booked this place because it was large enough for our group. I am sure glad she did. This place has the best view/location. Not only are you on the river but you are walking distance to a fancy chocolate and ice cream shop. The place was clean, had plenty of extra blankets and pillows, multiple TVs, WiFi, and some amazing floor to ceiling windows that let you watch the river flow from indoors. There was also plenty of outdoor seating, a picnic area, a bbq and lots of parking in the front. We may come back again in the summer to experience it in the warmer weather and to see more of Sequoia.

Amazing backyard!

The pictures of the yard don't do it justice. The picnic tables and the firepit were so much fun. We had a large group and everyone had enough space with large bedrooms and bathrooms. Would stay again.

Nice property, except for....

This is a fine property that needs some TLC and/or preventative maintenance to bring up to speed. The a/c was inadequate to cool the house and we did have someone come out to clean the condensers, but the system needed to be re-charged or upgraded to be effective. Had there had been curtains in the living room this could have been mitigated. This could or should be an item that is taken care of before the next guests arrive. The septic system had backed up on the last day we were here and fortunately a crew was in the neighborhood to clean the tank. Because of the use this home receives, this service should be done more than once every three months. If the above named items are corrected I would feel this would be a 4-5 star review.

Great views for a hot stay.

We stayed in July and the weather approached triple digits. The cooling system couldn’t handle it and the temperature inside approached 90 degrees. Not sure what the owner could have done, but the heat took something out of our stay. Beautiful views and nice rooms. No laundry could be found.

Stay anywhere else

The county downgraded the flood evacuation order to a warning a week before we were supposed the check in and the warning remained in place through the duration of our reservation. We called the county’s flood task force hotline and they unequivocally told us not to come. Jasmine (or Andrea or Victoria, her name changed a few times throughout the process) refused to acknowledge the county’s guidance and warnings and refused to cancel the reservation with a refund. We didn’t come to three rivers and she kept our money. I hope she at least spent it on something lavish. I have stayed in dozens of home shares and have had some wonderful interactions and experiences with my hosts. This one is literally the worst. Save yourself the frustration and book a different house.

Great location, well furnished cabin

I loved the location of the property with river access. The view is gorgeous from the living room and deck above where you can hear the river flow. The place is well furnished too. The only thing is the coffee maker was super dirty and we had to clean it ourselves, otherwise kitchen was okay. I hosted my boyfriend’s birthday party here with 12 friends and we had a really good time.

Amazing location and property, but needs some work to be great.

The location an property were great, however there were a few glaring flaws that really tainted the experience. 1) We found a spider so large we struggled to fit it in the glass we trapped it in. We found 5-6 other large spiders and a few cockroaches through out our stay. 2) There was a lot of broken glass on the steps down to the river. This was particularly disappointing since the river was so beautiful. 3) The house is a 4 bedroom property with a 5th separate room available for $40. This was great, but very confusing since the fees added to the total cost when people are added is different than the room fee. You must select the extra room and pay for it separately on Vrbo. This seemed super silly to not roll it into the over $700 of cleaning and service fees we were already charged. It also made check in awkward when the room was not available and we had to scramble to figure out why. 5) The WiFi worked for about an hour over three days. I will give them credit that they tried to reset the router a couple of times, but we gave up asking after a bit. This may have been a service provider issues, but I would not count on the WiFi if you need it. 6) The add lists coin laundry available, but apparently it is behind a locked door. Not really an issue, but could be more accurate. Overall just disappointed, the property was in the perfect location, and the property was updated with a beautiful view. The general house was very clean, but they need to put out some spider repellent and clean up the outside a bit. I really hope I caught the cleaning crew on an off day, but I probably wouldn't not stay there again.

This is listed as a 5 bedroom home. However, if you want5 bedrooms , you have to pay an extra $50 for a detached bonus room with no bathroom. Another bedroom has no door, just a curtain!

Perfect Retreat Getaway

Easy! We booked our stay with no problems. The house is beautiful and is just as presented. We brought a group of girls from Perris, CA. We arrived late at night and they were pleasantly surprised to wake up to the river. The house is located in a perfect spot close to shopping, dining and snow. The outside is perfect! Lots of seating for a large group. Spacious driveway. Surely this house would be equally nice all year round. We highly recommend!

Over all 4 stars!!!

Everything was great except the description of the property. It says that it has 5 bedrooms and a studio. And in reality the main house has only 4 bedrooms and the 5th one is the studio and you have to pay extra if you want to use it. So be aware of that when you count how many ppl is in your party. The property was not sparkling clean actually kind of dusty and lots of spider webs... Over all is was ok although, the whole escenario is beautiful! I would rent again this place.

Great property, just get the facts first.

Pros: Fantastic view, right on the river. Abundant wildlife, deer and a bear in our yard! 5 miles from Sequoia park entrance Cons: Some cleaning issues. Biggest issue: It says 5 bedrooms, 3 baths and and extra room, but the 5th. bedroom was the extra room. We would have gladly paid for it if the post had been clear. We needed 6 beds and did not have them due to this unclear posting. Also, I asked why it was posted that way several times and never got an answer. The cleaning issues are easily fixed. The posting should be fixed to clearly state the 5th bedroom is extra. It is on a busy street. This might be a neutral for you, but you still have a right to know. It does make a difference. It isn't safe to just go on a walk from the property, which is our common practice. You can also hear the traffic in the bedrooms at night. For some who think they are getting away to a mountain retreat, this can be disappointing. They need more light in the living room. There are only 3 canned lights in the front half. The back half is dark. We wanted to look at pictures, but could only do it during the day. It was that dark. A couple cheap floor lamps would solve this problem. Also, the river while fantastic, is not for the faint of heart to get into. It is a steep path down and over rocks at the final entry point. Don't think sandy incline, good for little kids. No. But half of my group (we are 62) braved it and half did not. Having said all this. We would definitely think about going again because the backyard with the river outshined everything else. We would definitely get the extra room. The owners seem like nice people. I hope they fix the post to be a little more forthcoming, and get a couple of cheap floor lamps for the living room and have a talk with their cleaning crew. I spent far too much time on these issues during the trip itself. But yes, I would recommend this property.
