Diana's Enchanted Cottage Welcomes You and Your Family to Our Quaint Beach Community located in Colonial Beach VA. We are happy to offer our cottage as a Pet Friendly Home where your fur-babies can enjoy the fenced yard for the freedom to run and play! Our Cottage is located on The Point of Colonial Beach with close access to the Main Beach Attractions, The Boat Ramp, Public Pier, Marina and Many of Our Fantastic Restaurants. We are a golf cart community where you can rent or reserve your carts to make your access easy to the Beach, which is a 5 minute ride.
The Cottage is located on a lovely spacious lot, 2 bedrooms, 1 full bath with tub shower combo, open living space to include the relaxing and spacious screened porch with views of the Potomac River.
Our Cottage will meet all your needs if relaxing is on your bucket list!

quiet neighborhood

A very clean, and well appointed cottage located in a very quiet neighborhood. So relaxing, and close to everything in Colonial Beach. We rode our bikes all over the neighborhood several times, and felt safe and fun! So much charm to this place!

Cottage Near the River

We stayed for two nights in this two-bedroom cottage which is located one block from the Potomac river. It was very clean and pet friendly as we had our dog with us. There is also a fully fenced yard. The kitchen appeared to be fully equipped although we did not eat any meals in-house. I would not hesitate to recommend this home or stay there again - it was quiet and made for a great getaway.

A truly enchanting getaway

We went just before Memorial Day, so it was very quiet in the neighborhood and around town. We just needed some down time, and this darling house was the perfect place for a quiet getaway. Great decor, comfy bed, safe spot for pets, lovely screened porch. The house is a couple blocks from water on both sides, so gets really good breezes.

My daughters favorite place to stay in Colonial

We come down to Colonial a few times per year and jump around on different VRBOs. Our family is small just two young kids. Very comfy beds, and wonderfully decorated interior. Neighborhood is perfect-love the trees. Bring your golf cart. We will be back!

Enchanted Cottage

The location was perfect. Pretty much near everything and a short walk to the beaches. The house was cute and comfortable. The fenced in yard was great. The neighbors were very friendly. Better cable service would have been nice. The house is well maintained and clean. We had a great time.

The pictures don’t do it justice

This house is lovely. I am a sucker for nostalgia, antiques, worn and loved collectibles, and the owner of this home has such an eye for setting up a warm, inviting home. It has all the amenities for a family, it was clean and cozy, only a few minute walk to the beach, and in a very adorable neighborhood. We would definitely come back again.

Vacation

The property was junky you couldn’t walk with out thinking you were going to knock something over way to many nick nacks, the fenced in yard was dirty the dogs couldn’t walk with out getting walnut shells in there feet, everything we wanted or do we couldn’t because everything is closed on Monday and Tuesday’s, Couldn’t get in the water way to many jellyfish, sad to say we will not be coming back.

Quaint and Cozy

We enjoyed our stay. The cottage was supplied with plenty of items in the kitchen as well as towels and linens. I loved having the full kitchen, as well as the washer and dryer. We enjoyed being about to walk around the neighborhood with ease. Mosquitoes were an issue, however, that has nothing to do with the house, as there was no standing water at the house. I suspect they are coming from the drainage ways in the neighborhood. I would just recommend making sure other guests know to bring bug spray.

Secret Garden Getaaay

From the rime we booked the cottage till we left it was a truly wonderful experience . The cottage itself was charming spacious and inviting . We loved it . I do recommend a golf cart rental to buzz around Colonial Beach . The only downfall to our gateway was the beach . Jellyfish were in mass parades … never seen that many anywhere so I didn’t get in the water . If the cottage had not been as charming I wouldn’t have been happy but that helped me get over the jellyfish invasion . I will go back hopefully before the jellies …

Three day getaway

What a welcoming cottage. It was so easy to pick up on the love Diana had for her home and we felt blessed that the family offers it as a rental. It was clean, everything we needed was available, well organized, beautiful grounds….flowers blooming in the yard, great front porch and screened in porch. Along with a fenced in backyard for our doggies. So close to the water and restaurants. We enjoyed just hanging out, disconnecting with our phones and enjoying the beach, town and most of all…each other. We are looking forward to returning to Diana’s Cottage in October! The photos don’t do this cottage and grounds justice. The mature trees make you feel as if you’re in the woods a bit, as it’s so quiet the crickets are deafening! Yet you are 2 blocks from the River. Very unique, lovely area.

Peaceful beach cottage, laid back neighborhood

The cottage was perfect for our extended weekend stay while visiting our parents. The frozen backyard made for comical trips outside for our doggies. We would have loved to enjoy sitting outside on the screened-in porch, but the weather was a bit cold and windy the entire weekend (temp in the teens, 10-30 mph winds) The sunrise over the Potomac each morning was fantastic, a great peaceful start to each day.
