Peaceful and pretty

Lovely hosts, a quiet little cottage in ideallic surroundings with everything you need. Highly recommended for a peaceful retreat close to gorgeous Honfleur.

Perfect peaceful haven

I stayed here with my partner for 5 days at the end of August. The pressure is a perfect little bolt hole for exploring the Normandy coast including Honfleur and Deauville. Beautiful surroundings and very peaceful. The host Gigi was super helpful and lovely throughout our stay. If we can make it back this would be our top choice of place to stay.

Lovely Gite in quiet rural location

We enjoyed our stay in The Pressor which is a lovely thatched property in beautiful surroundings. Gigi was there to welcome us and offered us helpful advice. The garden was dog friendly and secure so our little dog felt happy to play and we were happy that she was safe. We found the kitchen to be basic with just two electric rings to cook on but there was a microwave and toaster to use as well. I did suggest to Gigi that a small freezer would be useful especially on hot days when ice would have been welcome. I also mentioned that a permanent fan in the bedroom would help as it does tend to get too hot at nights even with the small window open. Overall, we would recommend staying in The Pressor if a quiet location and a quirky thatched property is what you want for a break in Normandy to recharge your batteries.

Univers cocooning et branché musique !Malgré le temps notre chienne à apprécié l'espace. Tres au calme pour nous. Une piste d'amélioration : équipement de cuisine échange du mini bar en forme d'enceinte adapté au salon par un frigo avec glaçons et du matériel pour ceux qui aiment se faire un peu de cuisine par mauvais temps...Propriétaires très agréables .nous recommandons.

Long week-end reposant, dans un endroit privilégié, au calme, en pleine nature et à quelques minutes de l’animation d’Honfleur. L’accueil des propriétaires est très chaleureux et la petite chaumière très agréable à vivre.

Der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm. Gigi ist eine sehr unkomplizierte, aufmerksame und freundliche Gastgeberin. Sie stand uns jederzeit für Fragen und Wünsche zur Verfügung, war aber nie aufdringlich. Wer einen ruhigen Ort für einen Aufenthalt in der Normandie sucht, ist hier gut aufgehoben.

Très belle endroit a deux pas d honfleur, de nombreux sentiers pédestres juste à côté

La location est vraiment charmante avec son toit normand, la propriété est très bien entretenue, et les chiens sont acceptés

Heerlijk rustig weekje weg.

Leuke knusse woning in een super rustige omgeving op een prachtig landgoed. Heerlijk ook voor de hond. Relaxte vriendelijke gastvrije eigenaars. Huisje is erg stoffig, maar dat kan ook niet anders met al dat hout en rieten dak. Maar buiten is het heerlijk vertoeven bij de vijver, wandelen op het terrein of luieren in de lekkere lig stoel bij t huis. BBQ beschikbaar.

Petit Paradis - Erholung pur, genau so soll Urlaub sein

Gigi, die Gastgeberin, hat uns herzlich in Empfang genommen und uns den Schlüssel für das Ferienhaus übergeben. Wir haben Details zu Küchenausstattung, Müll und Handtücher erhalten, sowie ein paar Tips zur Umgebung. Wir reisten mit unseren 2 Hunden, was von Beginn an unkompliziert war. Während unseres Aufenthalts wäre eine Kontaktaufnahme zu Gigi jederzeit möglich gewesen, da sie und ihr Mann Pascal auf demselben Gelänge wohnen. Nach 2 Wochen reisten wir früh morgens ab, was ebenfalls unkomplizierter geregelt wurde. Wir sollten den Schlüssel in der Tür stecken lassen, das war’s. Gerne kommen wir wieder, wenn wir Urlaub in der Normandie machen.

We enjoyed this stay very much.

Me , my wife and our small dog Pluchke felt us very welcome . Really nice house and big garden .Our dog had the time of here life running in the garden and playing with Geremy , Pascal and Gigi. Only 8 minutes to Honfleur .
