We love Sno Regrets and have rented it twice. It's a beautiful, spacious home with an amazing view. Great ski/ski out for both Nordic and downhill.

Disappointed
Only two days prior to our arrival, we were told that the oven was non-functioning.We were told the smaller side oven might work - it did not. We had prepared 4 oven ready meals that we could just pop in the oven so we could relax after skiing, so this was a big problem & unacceptable. We noted on a previous review, the non-working oven was brought to the owners attention back in January! We arrived to our place with 4 inches of snow on an uncleared, icy, steep driveway & stairs. We had to shovel & salt all the exterior concrete stairs and landings & there was a lot! We had to ask the neighbor to bring his snowblower over to clear the driveway. This should have all been done prior to our arrival. Also, the fireplace did not work & the toilets had flushing issues and we had to lift the tank lid to make them work.Needless to say we were very disappointed as it was an expensive stay & these issues were unacceptable. We asked for compensation to our pre-paid unit, but managers & owners went silent. We did not get what we paid for & are shocked we have heard nothing back.Overall the unit was clean & cozy with lovely views & easy ski-in ski-out. With exception of the oven, the kitchen was well supplied.Silver Star is a great ski resort!
We have rented various properties at Silver Star over the last 18 winters and, even though the majority of them have been good, this one is the pick of the bunch.A few reviewers note the stairs to get in, but once you're unpacked and loaded in, then that's you in! Besides, if you're up skiing then you should be in a decent enough shape to get up and down them! The benefit of the property being elevated is that it then has amazing uninterrupted views, but, critically, is only about 15' away from the Attridge Ski run - so as true a definition of ski in/ski out that you can find. It's better, as an example, than some of the places on the Knoll as you are on the incline, so can easily access Alpine Meadows or Silver Queen Chair and on the way back home can upload via the gondola or the Comet and come down Criss Cross into Attridge and kick your skis off almost at the back door. Wonderful. The house itself is fantastic. All 4 bedrooms had great beds/mattresses and linens and the in-floor heating in all en-suites, the main bathroom, and the boot room worked effectively. The kitchen is massive and stocked with just about every utensil and knick knack that you can imagine or need. The hot tub was sparkling clear and was serviced every other day when we were there. The hosts were super responsive and great to deal with.I think that this property had a 10/10 rating on VRBO when I looked and it lives up to it. Book it - you won't be disappointed.
We loved the size of the condo and cleanliness. However, we had difficulties using the oven and even after contacting the property manager, were unable to resolve the issue. This made cooking for our large group difficult.
4 couples who all enjoyed skiing at Silver Star and Sovereign Lake appreciated this amazing vacation space. We enjoyed the well-appointed kitchen with everything to prepare delicious dinners together, the hot tub and the comfortable beds. It is very clean and well managed! Second year staying there!
Our stay at Sno' Regrets was amazing. The place was immaculately clean, has excellent amenities. The main space was big and comfortable, with amazing views. The kitchen was well stocked.
The ski in/ski out was very easy, and right out the back door.
There is an easy shuttle to the house from Kelowna airport, and given you can ski in and out (including for cross country skiing as well), and the village is walkable, you really don't even need a car.
Yes, there are a lot of stairs when you first enter, but once you're up there's not a lot of need to go down except to get to shuttle or cars.
I highly recommend this place.
A group of friends who were attending the weekend skate ski Supercamp thoroughly enjoyed the space. The kitchen was amazing and we had so much space in the living area to lounge, stretch and read after skiing. We appreciated the kitchen amenities and prepared delicious meals together. The mattresses were very comfy and the place was well organized and very clean. It was better than anything we expected. I hope we can stay there again next season. It is a fabulous place where we made great memories!
The property is modern and well appointed but with a cozy, welcoming feel. The kitchen and all included cookware/appliances is top notch. Great place to stay on ski out to alpine meadows chair
If you're going on a ski trip, this place is perfect! Everything went well on our trip and communication with host was excellent when we had any questions. Only caution is this may not be the place for you if you have difficulty with stairs.
Left multi-stove works best on convection.
Had to clear some snow in the driveway and stairs when we arrived, but understandable when it snows over a foot two nights in a row.... Small price to pay for pow days!
Our multi-generation family has rented ski chalets for years, and Sno-Regrets chalet was by far the best in every regard. Many chalets have beds for 10+ but not the living space for that many people. This chalet has ample kitchen storage and eating space with plates/cutlery/mugs for multiple meals, the living room can seat 12+ comfortably, the mud room/boot storage is large enough for everyone’s gear. The location is fantastic with the ski run right out the back door.
Well equipped, clean, comfortable, bright, with amazing views and responsive hosts, Sno-Regrets is a great option for your vacation booking. We would definitely stay here again.
This is the best designed, best built, best maintained, and best stocked vbro property we have ever enjoyed. Just fantastic. The view is stunning. Ski-in-ski out once you figure out the way up and down. The only downside is that there are exactly 60 stairs from the driveway to the main floor, most of them outside, under an awning, but that can still be snowy and icy. No problem for most of us, but getting my 93-year-old mom up and down once a day was a bit of a production. Plenty of tools available to clear the snow and ice. Plenty of tools and well-placed accouterments to do anything you need, including cooking at a gourmet level. The bedding and towels were first rate, comparable to a 4-star hotel. The property managers were prompt and competent with any minor issues we had. All in all one of the best rentals we've ever staid in, if you can deal with the stairs.
This chalet is wonderful. Has everything you need. Beautifully decorated. Gorgeous views. Plenty of space. If you don’t like stairs, this place is not for you. Lots of stair climbing up and down the house. Owner was very accommodating and easy to get in touch if needed. We had a blast!
Had a fantastic 2 weeks at this property backing the Attridge Run Out. Clean, well appointed, magnificent views. Everything met or exceeded our expectations.
Beautiful ski chalet, that was great for a large group. The main living area is open and perfect for hanging out at the end of a day of skiing. There's a great view from the kitchen/living room and the kitchen was extremely well equipped to cook for a group.
Extremely well appointed chalet. Everything was immaculate as well.
The kitchen was amazing, even had sharp knives which I have never encountered before in a rental. The hot tub was awesome as well.
Only downside is the driveway is on a significant upside making parking difficult in snowy conditions.
Overall 5 stars.
We had the most wonderful stay! This home has everything you could possibly need! Just steps from the hill made it easy for our kids to get on the hill each morning.
Great communication throughout our stay!
Truly magical! We will be back for sure!
