In a quiet village, 1500 m from the sea, this charming cottage classified "historic monument family" was renovated in 2005 and equipped for your comfort. Well situated for exploring the Cotentin is the ideal place to spend your vacation.
The 2016 Tour de France passes 3 km.
For fans of sport: you can make your jogging or cycling along the sea.
Nearby you can also enjoy golf, tennis, horse riding and water activities. For fans of nature: you can - or enjoy the sunrise (sometimes you have to be patient, the sun is tired, he can get up late), - or discover the marshes, cliffs between The Hague and the nose Jobourg (62 km), or admire the panorama of La Pernelle (10 km).

Always a pleasure to stay
We’ve stayed in this property before and have always found it excellently furnished with all the necessary amenities. The hosts are a wonderful couple and have been always helpful. The cottage is conveniently located for the area and close to the sea and the historical landmarks.

Nice holiday-house in an interesting environment
Very nice hosts - easy communication with them. The house is well equipped and has a great garden. I lies very close to a road. During the day we didn't hear much of the traffic - but in the evenings we heard the cars passing by (with open windows in the sleeping rooms). The house lies about 5 kms from the next bigger town (Quettehou) with many shops and a big supermarket. The environment of northern Cotentin (peninsula where the house is located) is very interesting. There are several nice beaches in the neighbourhood.

Das Haus war gemütlich eingerichtet. Alles war sauber und gepflegt. Leider war es Stellenweise etwas lauter durch den Verkehrslärm der Straße die direkt am Haus vorbei führt. Auch ein großer Garten mit Grillmöglichkeit ist vorhanden. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir wurden sehr herzlich begrüßt, trotz Sprachbarriere waren Joelle und Bernard an unserem Wohl sehr interessiert. Wir danken beiden für die schöne Zeit in der Normandie.

Sejour en famille dans cette maison qui offre de quoi passer 15 jours en toute commodité. Les 4 enfants ont appréciés le grand jardin . Nous avons même eu la visite d un chevreuil. Les 2 adultes la proximité de la mer. Les ballades a vélo. La proximité de tous les services a 10mn en voiture. La commune est bien implantée afin d etre a une portée tres raisonnable des grands sites a visiter que ce soit du côté de Barfleur ou celui d'Omaha beach Les proprietaires sont a l ecoute et sympathiques Belles vacances pour nous cette année

Tres bon sejour
La demeure est tres agreable et comporte tout le confort necessaire pour passer un tres bon sejour. Les exterieurs sont egalement agreables et bien securises pour les enfants. Je ne peux que recommander cette destination. Que de bons souvenirs.

Beaucoup de possibilités de sorties dans un rayon peu éloigné. Avec la météo du Cotentin bien sûr. Séjour très apprécié des enfants et des adultes. Le grand jardin a été très apprécié des enfants.

Erholsamer Urlaub
Wir haben wunderbar ruhige und naturnahe Wochen in Aumville-Lestre verlebt. Beide Vermieter/ -in waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Haus ist historisch, gewachsen und einladend. Wir haben den Platz in Haus und Garten sehr genossen. Alles war da und sauber. Die Fenster sind sehr gut und absorbieren den Verkehr an der direkten Landstraße. Der naturnahe Strand ist sehr gut fußläufig zu erreichen. Von dort ist es ein guter Strandspaziergang in den nächsten kleinen Ort mit hervorragendem Bäcker, Muschelfischer, kleinem Restaurant und Museum.

Viel Platz und großer Garten
Das Ferienhaus ist renoviert und gemütlich eingerichtet. Es bietet viel Platz für die ganze Familie (2 Erwachsene, 3 Kinder). Auch im Garten hatten die Kinder viele Entfaltungsmöglichkeiten beim Spielen. Obwohl wir nur wenig Französisch sprechen konnten, wurden wir freundlich aufgenommen und alles wichtige wie Waschmaschine etc. wurde uns erklärt. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es erst im ca. 7km entfernten Quettehou. Da man sowieso auf der Rückfahrt vom Strand dort vorbeifährt, ist das aber O.K. Lange Strände zum Burgenbauen für die Kinder ganz in der Nähe und viel Raum zum Wandern. Für Wattwanderer/Wanderer der ideale Ort. Richtig zum Entspannen. Weitere interessante Reisezeile wie Cherbourg (36km) mit großem Museum für Regentage oder die Insel Tatihou für entdeckungslustige Kinder sind nahe. Wir hatten zwei angenehme Urlaubswochen.

Séjour dépaysant dans une région somptueuse.
Cette ancienne maison familiale du Cotentin possède un réel charme. Idéalement placée entre Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue et la petite station balnéaire de Quinéville, son emplacement permet aux plaisanciers de rayonner entre le val de Saire et Utah Beach. Elle est très confortable et permet de profiter agréablement des longues soirées d'été. Le terrain de la maison est grand, les enfants peuvent en profiter en jouant (Paul remercie encore Mme Lechevalier pour sa compréhension...). Bref, le séjour, avec un très beau temps, a été plus qu'agréable. A revivre...

sehr gemütlich! großer Garten
Das Ferienhaus ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Viele interessante Reiseziele sind von hier aus gut zu erreichen. Der Preis für die Endreinigung und die Bettwäsche + Handtücher sollte im Mietpreis enthalten sein. Leider haben wir die Vermieterfamilie nicht persönich kennengelernt. Ansonsten haben wir den Aufenthalt sehr genossen! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Bon contact et maison fonctionnelle
TB bon contact et maison ok. Nous avons passé un bon séjour. La proximité de ma route n'est pas du tout gênante. Seul petit bémol il faut passer par une chambre pour accéder aux deux autres mais en ce qui nous concerne cela c'est géré avec les enfants.

Très agréable
Vieille petite maison rénovée. Tout est bien aménagé et bien entretenu. La salle-de-bain est un peu petite. Le jardin est entièrement clôturé ce qui est très pratique avec des enfants. Les propriétaires sont très attentifs à ce que tout ce qui est nécessaire soit à disposition.

Super location, un bon séjour
la première chose que je dirai est que le contact avec la propriétaire était excellent, rapide et efficace. La maison, nous convenait parfaitement, il ne manquait rien, tous les ustensiles, et appareils étaient présents, exactement comme chez nous. on a apprécié le parking privé, le barbecue et le jardin, indispensable, pour les enfants pleins d'énergie comme les miens. Les brochures dans la maison nous ont beaucoup aidé pour planifier nos visites. Je tiens à préciser que les petits gestes à notre arrivée nous ont touché notamment la petite bouteille de rosé au frigo et les biscuits pour les enfants et les gourmands. Merci encore. On espère revenir un de ces jours en Normandie, et à ce moment là, on saura ou on séjournera. M.Vilris
