Part of a 300 year old former farmhouse, the garden apartment at Finca Botanico has been fully renovated and offers stylish and comfortable accommodation for two people in an idyllic and tranquil edge of village location, just a short drive from the beach at Arrieta.

The property is entirely independent of the rest of the Finca ensuring total peace and privacy for guests and is located in Guatiza, five minutes drive from the popular yet unspoiled beach at Arrieta and five minutes’ stroll from Cesar Manrique´s world famous cactus garden.

Finca Botanico boasts a beautiful private courtyard garden which is packed with mature tropical plants, and divided into different chill out areas with comfortable seating, barbecue and an outdoor shower. Enabling guests to relax in style and enjoy a real feeling of outdoor living and a connection with the stunning surrounding countryside.

Whilst internally the property has been furnished and decorated to a high standard, offering guests free high speed Wi-Fi, smart TV and a wood burner for winter nights. Beach towels are provided as well as bath towels and linen.

The property has a large sitting room, with high ceilings and large double patio doors which open onto the garden, bringing the outdoors in. Guests can relax on the new three seat sofa and gaze out into the garden. There's an indoor seating area for two here, as well as a log burning stove and a wall mounted smart TV. Doors lead from here to the bedroom and bathroom, whilst the brand new fully equipped kitchen overlooks the garden too.

The bathroom is brand new, marble tiled and boasts a good quality power shower as well as plenty of natural light. We provide guests with bath towels as well as towels for use outdoors or at the beach.

The bedroom has a very comfortable new queen size double bed, built in wardrobes, side tables and lamps and two windows with shutters and great views to the countryside.

The village of Guatiza retains an authentic rural and unspoiled character and Finca Botanico is surrounded by fields where local farmers cultivate a variety of produce. A supermarket, cash point, bars and restaurants are all within a few minutes’ walk of the property, with wonderful scenery and plenty of delightful country walks right on the doorstep.

The apartment is for two guests only. We don't have space to accommodate babies or children here.

Lovely peaceful stay

The house provided a lovely quiet location from which to easily explore the island. The house is very well equipped with everything we needed. Communication with the host was simple and one small issue we had was addressed and fixed immediately even though we were leaving the next day. The garden is beautiful and a lovely sun trap with options of places to sit in sun or shade, vertical or horizontal and there is also a bar b que. would definitely recommend. Thank you.

Äusserst geschmackvoll eingerichtete Wohnung in ruhigem Quartier.Der private, gepflegte Garten mit div.Sitzplätzen ist äusserst idyllisch. Der Service der Gastgeberin ist sehr zuvorkommend. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Tolle Lage in einem kleinen Dorf, von wo aus man überall schnell hinkommt. Die Vermieterin Gaby ist sehr hilfsbereit und hat uns mit insider Tipps versorgt. Die Wohnung mit Garten ist ein Traum! Wir können den Aufenthalt herzlichst empfehlen!!

Un vrai petit coin de paradis

L'appartement est absolument magique. Une atmosphère de bien-être immédiat. Finitions et décorations très soignées, agencement idéal, wifi très fiable, on se sent vraiment comme à la maison. Le jardin est une poésie à lui tout seul! Guatiza est un très joli village, tout à fait typique. Il est très bien situé, loin des centres de tourisme de masse, mais près des sites les plus intéressants. Nous y avons passé deux semaines de rêve. Merci à Gaby, toujours disponible et souriante.

Quiet and relaxing place to stay

Gabby was there to meet us on our arrival and we were instantly delighted with the garden area, it was dark so the outside lights were on and it all looked so pretty. The inside accommodation is spacious and very well presented and equipped with everything you would need for your stay. Should you require anything then Gabby was only just next door. There was a very well stocked supermarket in the village with daily fresh bread and an excellent fresh meat counter. The one and only reason I have given 4 and not 5 stars is that there was no local restaurant open at all in the village at the time we were staying. It would have been nice to just have a wander along the lanes to have something to eat rather than always having to travel by car. The whole area and village is very unspoilt so if you want bright lights and loud music then this is not for you but if, like us, you wanted total peace and quiet then this is what you will get.

Amazing!

Siamo stati a Finca Botanica per 2 settimane in agosto. La casa e il giardino sono davvero molto belli e confortevoli. È in una posizione comoda sia per le spiagge che per i bellissimi siti culturali di Lanzarote. Assolutamente consigliata. Gaby è una padrona di casa davvero gentile e disponibile per qualsiasi necessità. Un'unica annotazione: sarebbe perfetto se ci fosse una lavatrice. Solo per questo le stelle sono 4 e non 5.

A place to completely unwind

Stayed for a week at this very lovely property within a quiet, traditional village. Found the apartment clean and very comfortable. The beautiful, private courtyard is a fantastic addition to the indoors. Gaby is very helpful and service minded host both ahead of arrival and throughout my stay. Would definitely recommend staying here to friends and family. Ideally placed for visits to all of Cesar Manrique's attractions as well as the mountainous & coastal north. For shopping only 15 minutes drive to traditional towns of Teguise and Haria, and 20 minutes to the capital Arrecife. Great for local walks in and around the village.

Beautiful, quiet accomodation in lovely village

We spent one week in the house of Gaby and everything worked out very well. The house is nicely decorated, everything you need is available, a good bed, good bathroom, well equipped kitchen and good wifi connection and very private. But the best thing is the beautiful garden with a few lovely sitting area's in the sun and in the shade. Guetiza is a quiet and friendly village with a good restaurant and supermarket on walking distance. The area is beautiful and we preferred much more the north than the south of the island. The north is more quiet, spectacular scenery and there are a few nice towns like Haria and Teguise and the best beach of the island, Famara, is just a short drive away. We certainly would like to come back to Gaby's accomodation.

Thoroughly enjoyable stay

Lovely private garden area thoughtfully planted. Well equipped throughout, comfortable bed and seating. Good wifi. No negatives we can think of except perhaps a couple of sun beds, but that's nitpicking.
