This was our 2nd stay and we will come back again and again. Beth has every detail covered. The water views are amazing, the master bathroom is a dream! Super quiet and relaxing.
This place was just what we needed, a secluded getaway with a wonderful view. The place was spotless and totally equipped with everything we needed. We saw pelicans and eagles and were frequently entertained by a visiting fox. Would definitely go back!
The house was great!!! Very relaxing and time to unwind. one of the nicest and cleanest houses we have rented. Only down side is not much open in the area on Mondays and Tuesdays
The house is exactly as pictured. It’s a beautiful location and the house is well-maintained with absolutely everything we needed. It’s truly the first time I’ve ever been to a vacation rental that I didn’t have to go to the store and buy something that should’ve been at the house. There were things/amenities there I hadn’t even thought of and were lovely!
Beth has done an excellent job with the home. Highly recommend. We loved her detailed answers and descriptions of activities, the property, and local restaurants!
Singing Pines was the perfect spot for a Fathers Day getaway. The home was specialist and beautiful. The pictures are accurate. Everything was available for us to use to cook and relax. The water was perfect and right at our feet. Beth was an amazing host giving tons of recommendations and left us a delicious bottle of wine. We will be returning very soon!
We had a great weekend at this fabulous waterfront home. The house is even more beautiful than the pictures . The views are amazing and we loved watching the water birds, osprey, and bald eagles. The location is secluded and quiet, but also only a short drive to restaurants, seafood markets, and wineries. The owner was very friendly and quick to respond to any questions. Even on cold days, the house is so cozy that we enjoyed time reading, playing games, and looking at the water views. We are excited to book this location again!
The house and property were spectacular - the pictures are accurate, but still don't do justice to the beauty and serenity. The house is gorgeous and so well decorated. My husband and I stayed with his sister and husband and we all had place to retreat to for quiet time - so many seating options! We ate in some and played games at the table. Enjoyed the great deck and the views - including sunrises and sunsets. While the house is somewhat remote (which provides the serenity), we really enjoyed exploring the northern neck and went to several of Beth's suggestions. Enjoyed several wineries, restaurants on the water, a ferry ride to Tangier island, George Washington's birthplace and Yorktown Battlefield on July 4. Beth was super responsive and everything was just perfect! Highly recommend.
This was a girl’s getaway and Beth’s house is perfect for it. Two guest rooms are large and comfortable and the master suite was pure luxury.
Each bedroom faces the water. One friend got up early each morning to catch the sunrise from her room. Wonderful!
Beth has thought of everything, from a fully stocked kitchen to makeup wipes in the bathrooms!
We enjoyed the deck and the chairs by the water. We didn’t kayak but did swim in the bay every day.
The view is exactly as pictured. Gorgeous.
Neither neighbor was home so we felt like we had our own oasis, although the houses are far apart so privacy wouldn’t have been an issue anyway.
We ventured out to a local market once to replenish supplies, so I can’t speak to local attractions.
We will come back as this house and Beth’s hospitality were both superb!
Space was clean and had all the necessary accessories. Bald Eagles and Ospreys, local crab fisherman, thunderstorms over the bay and supply chain (ships in and out of BAL) right from your expensive view of the bay. We did local state park and fished right off the property. Also spent a day in Williamsburg. Plenty of local places eat and drink. Would rent again for sure.
The property was beautiful, comfortable and very accommodating. The pictures are accurate and the description as well. We had everything we needed. We enjoyed watching the wildlife and the ships on the bay. There is water access right at the property and there is also a sweet little beach 2 minutes down the road. It is a pretty remote location, but all the places we ate were delicious. One of the AC units went out while we were there and Beth was immediately on it. She had someone there within a few hours to fix it. Truly an amazing host. We will definitely be back!
The house was beautiful with beautiful view. Room enough for our party of 6. Every Morning we would have coffee on the deck and watch ships, dolphins, eagles, rabbits and various other birds. A little disappointed that we didn't do research about the surrounding towns. Nothing was open Sun-Weds. We wanted to do the wineries and each had varying open times so we were unable to visit them (we did get to try 3). We stayed at the house a lot but it was truly relaxing. Beth was quick to respond back when we noticed a leak in the second bathroom early in the week. There were 6 of us and we had to use one bathroom but we made it work. Beth was quick to offer to send a plumber (who would have disrupted our relaxing time) or address once we left. She left if for us to decide. Truly a lovely house with amazing views!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our five-night stay at this property. The house was spotless, tastefully decorated and well-equipped. The home was as described - bay front. Neighboring lots are in close proximity but not unreasonably so and well-maintained as well. The views of the bay and Potomac River are spectacular - probably 150-degree view. Bald Eagles, hawks, Cranes, Bluebirds and other shore birds frequented the yard. Host was in communication prior to and during the stay.
The home was immaculate and charming and so much more spacious than we'd realized from the VRBO photos. There were 5 of us and there was so much room for anybody to find their own private spot if they wanted to. And the water views from almost every room in the house were magnificent and so relaxing. There was a cozy fireplace to gather around in the evening and the soaking tub was so appreciated. The perfect holiday getaway by the water. I highly recommend to all of those considering this home as a vacation rental.
We had a great time at Beth’s place celebrating my brother and sister in laws 25th anniversary. Visited a couple of the local wineries, small beach down the street( watch out for the jellyfish!). Views are beautiful as is Beth’s home.!
If all you want to see when you gaze out the window is unending water and sky, this is the place! Beth has done a lovely job furnishing the house with plenty of spots to hang out with a glass of wine. The kitchen is well stocked and there are lots of cooking basics available if you forgot to pack your pink Himalayan sea salt.
The master suite is inviting and calm, the second and third bedrooms share a bathroom, and both bedrooms are tastefully and efficiently decorated.
The property is 4 acres of mostly woods and that awesome, huge front lawn down to the water. The lots are long and skinny, so you won’t have tons of elbow room from the neighbors on each side, but with that view, who cares?!?!
We thoroughly enjoyed our teen son’s Spring Break vacation at this updated property with a breath-taking view. The home was a comfortable retreat for our local hikes and drives to explore the area. We fished and kayaked on a calm day, read inside on a rainy day, and slept soundly to a chorus of spring peepers. We were pleased with a few local take-out options (especially Unique Experience Eatery) and cooked easily with the kitchen amenities.
Snow and ice moved in and stayed most of the weekend, but this beautiful home has a cozy fireplace and plenty of heat that kept us warm! The owner is very nice and welcoming, and will keep you informed of anything you need. We would definitely stay again! The views are amazing, and there is plenty of peace and quiet here!! Nice stay!
Singing Pines was exactly the getaway that our family needed to recharge emotionally, physically and mentally. The home is comfortable and welcoming. Beth has done an amazing job with her renovations. Very clean and incredibly well equipped. The mattresses were the most comfortable we've ever found in a rental. Amazing views! Our only disappointment was that hurricane Delta prevented us from taking advantage of the bay access. Next time!😊
Beth's house was very clean and well appointed; we had everything we needed! The house's waterfront was beautiful and fairly secluded. The entire house was spotless and spacious - we definitely would rent again if we returned to the area.

Hello! I am an avid traveler and know what guests want in a good vacation home. I strive to ensure that your stay exceeds your expectations. My home is clean, tidy, well-stocked, and comfortable.
Why they chose this property
This house is unlike most others in the area. It is not a tiny cabin - it is spacious - about 2600 sq. ft. with two separate very large living areas both with panoramic views of the bay and doors to the expansive back porch. Also, all three bedrooms have panoramic views of the bay and each bed is cozy and comfortable. While there a neighboring homes to the side of the house, the house is private since there is only one side window from the kitchen. So neighbors cannot see into the house from their property.
What makes this property unique
The house is on a private road, and I have a long driveway from the private road, so there is zero traffic or road noise. It is truly peaceful.
