Lovely modern cabin on expansive ranch

We stayed here for a week with our family (4 kids). The cabin was clean and comfortable. The ranch was spectacular. Everyone loved playing at the lake and the waterfall. The fishing was awesome on Landers Fork. We had everything we needed and more (we didn’t tell the kids there was WiFi so that we could have a vacation without any phones/devices).Highly recommend for a quiet, tranquil , remote vacation.

Excellent comfort in the beauty of Montana

We had an amazing stay at the Big Dipper! The house itself was spectacular with wildlife right out your window! Clean and comfortable with plenty of space. Owners were very accommodating and quick to reply. We enjoyed a week or relaxation: hiking, fishing, day trip to Glacier NP. Mornings were spent watching wildlife come up in the yard and evenings counting shooting stars. The highlight of our year and would go back in a heartbeat!

absolutely breathtaking!

We loved living off the grid for 4 days! We thoroughly enjoyed the house. We took full advantage of the lake and enjoyed a day of kayaking, took a day trip to Glacier National Park, amd took another day to stroll through Missoula which was fabulous! Valerie was an amazing host and gave us the complete tour of the house. We had a minor hiccup with the wifi and Marc made sure we were back up and running promptly as my husband and I needed to check on some work issues back home! We made many memories with our 4 kids to our first trip to Montana! ❤️❤️❤️

Relaxing Retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the ranch. Valerie and Marc were more than helpful setting up our stay and making us feel welcome and comfortable. We had fun exploring old homesteads, hiking, biking and rowing in the private lake. The solitude and relaxation were much-needed and would love to return next year.

Bliss at the Big Dipper

Valerie and Marc were the greatest. Valerie took time to give us a great introduction to the cabin. Marc was great too, giving us flexibility on check-in timing first. Then he offered to take K on a tour of the ranch and to the lake for kayaking. I'm glad she had a great time too. The hummingbirds were so fun to watch. We saw wildlife like deer, elk and foxes. The cabin was beautiful, clean and well-appointed. It had everything we needed for dinners, except the food. The cabin's setting can't be beat. The sculpture garden in Lincoln was a fun visit too. I highly recommend the cabin and Valeria and Marc as hosts.

Great house and great hosts!

We had A lovely three day stay at this beautiful cabin. The architecture, art and historical information all made the stay enjoyable. The kitchen is well-equipped, bathrooms and beds were great. No cell service but the Wi-Fi worked well. We enjoyed walking on the ranch to visit the historic farmhouse but didn’t find the lake - other guests might need more info on how to get there. This is a very remote property, quiet and surrounded by nature. Unfortunately we did not see any wildlife while we were there but perhaps it was too hot. We very much enjoyed a visit to the sculpture Museum in Lincoln – well worth the visit. Valerie was a wonderful host, there to greet us and explain about how everything in the house worked. She was available by text if we had any questions. The house is very spacious and we did not use all of it but it would be good for a large family or three couples. Thank you Valerie and Mark for a very memorable stay!

Great Montana get away.

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend get away. The cabin is very cute, clean and comfortable. The 2000 acre Silver King Ranch is so much fun to explore. The views are stunning.. We saw lots of wildlife including a moose and her twins, elk, and mule deer. Valerie and her brother in law, Marc, were amazing hosts. They communicated with us very well and helped us get familiar with the area and the history of it. I would definitely book this again.
