Highly recommend this charming, historic place. Well appointed. Has everything you need for your stay. Cozy…yet plenty of space for everyone. Looks like it was just renovated. Took my daughter and two granddaughters for a ski weekend. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back here.
We love this home, this was our 4th time staying here. The layout is very good, bathrooms for each bedroom, the kitchen has everything we need, it is very clean, communication with the host is very good and we greatly enjoy the location, so much to do in all directions. This is the second time there has been snow when were there and someone has always come to shovel, very nice! We highly recommend this property!
The house was clean and looked newly remodeled. It had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. It is a good location when visiting Western MA. We would stay there again. Western MA.
I agree with all the other comments about what a wonderful place this was to enjoy a few days in the Berkshires. Everyone had their own space and plenty of room. The home is well stocked and very clean. Great location close to Shelburne falls.
Thanks for accommodating our extra night at the last minute!
We stayed as part of a business trip. Three floors each with a bathroom was the selling point for our team. Everything was clean and as described. We would stay again!
This was a great option for my family to be close by to our home in Buckland over the holidays. Booking was easy and the historic home has a great location right off the Mohawk Trail with a beautiful brook in the backyard.
We spent a long weekend here with two kids and one set of grandparents. The layout of this house was perfect- every level has a bedroom, bathroom, and some seating space so there was always a way to have some folks nap while others hang out. The playground right across the street was also great, as was the proximity to town.
Really enjoyed my stay - plenty of room. This is a very charming house in a beautiful setting. The location was perfect. I would definitely stay here again!
This is our 3rd time staying here, we love this historic home, it is in very good condition. The home is very clean, well stocked, the layout is very good and the communication with the host is also very good. We love the brook going by. It is close to Smith College where our daughter goes to school. We also enjoy the many other places and things to do in this area. Even after our daughter graduates I can see us coming back to this home and part of Massachusetts.
This property was beautiful, easy and perfect for our quick weekend getaway. We have friends who live in the area and this was a great place for us to stay that was close to the town and close to their home. Communication was super easy and the house was exactly what we pictured. We will definitely be coming back!
We were delighted with our rental house that was tastefully put together, beautiful hardwood floors, 3 bedrooms and baths each on separate floors for more privacy for everyone. It is locate near many hiking trails and close to a quaint town. The country setting and babbling brook passing nearby was an escape from all the noise in our world.
Having grown up in the area, it was a treat to stay in this lovely, refurbished Old Mill - complete with a babbling brook! The property was meticulously cared for and tastefully appointed. Easy check-in, and beautiful hikes near by. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
Clean, responsive host, 1 bedroom & 1 bath on each floor, beautiful quiet setting, near quaint towns & amenities like grocery stores, gas stations & restaurants, not far from I91. We stayed here to attend our kids' college graduation near Amherst and this location was perfect for that. It was close enough to get to graduation events on time yet away from the traffic and graduations crowds.
We loved our stay at this sweet house on a brook just a short drive to charming Shelburne Falls. It was the perfect getaway for our Music Fedtival weekend! Loved the 3 bathrooms for 3 couples!
Hope to return next year!
The grounds on this property is exceptional. Plenty of room for Bocce ball. The house was great! Their were 6 of us and we cooked inside and we used the provided grill out side also ate at local restaurant, the Blue Rock which was great! The place was nice and clean, and plenty of room for all of us to stretch out, play games and talk!
We loved the house and plan on coming back. The owner was very attentive, the house had all of the amenities you'd need, checking in and out was simple and we loved the creek and its little waterfalls right in the backyard! It was a great family ski trip.
Our occasion was a wedding in the family - so lots of coming/going, busy times and free times. Everyone who stayed and visited was comfortable and happy.
Highly recommended.
Impeccably clean when we arrived. Felt newly renovated - freshly painted walls, cabinets, great lighting. Ample linens and towels. Wonderful light and views from windows. TV in great room would have been a bonus, mattress a little soft for our preference. Overall, a great stay!
Stayed at Tim’s place last weekend with 2 friends. The place was great. Clean and very organized. 3 BR,s and baths each on their own floor was ideal. We agreed any of us would stay here with our families when in the area again. Really appreciate the ease of communication with the owner too.
My husband and I stayed with my mother-in-law and sister-in-law and this place was perfect. Three floors, each with its own bedroom, bath, and sitting areas worked great to give us all privacy and space. The pool across the street at the Buckland Rec area was perfect for our six great nieces and nephew. The only downside was we did get a lot of rain the week we were there and the basement room where my husband and I stayed got a little musty with a mildew smell in the evenings. But that was minor compared to all the pluses of this property.
Have rented here many times over the past three years, mostly in winter months, and hope to keep coming back. House is always amazingly clean, communicating with Tim the property owner is always super easy, and we’ve really started exploring more and more of the area. Love this part of Massachusetts and love this home.
We had a fantastic stay at the Mill this fall- our second visit there. The setting is beautiful, with a river in back framed by colorful trees. We hiked the Fire Tower trail that was listed on the house info sheet and it didn't disappoint! We cooked in mostly, and the kitchen is well appointed and comfortable. A clean and charming property overall, and the host excellent in communicating with us.
Tim,
Thank you very much for the use of your home. It was exactly what was advertised and exactly what we needed. SUPER clean and much appreciated!! Spacious, great detailed instructions and attractions close by. Unfortunately, we were there for a graduation, but we will have to book again the explore the area in greater detail. 5 Stars!
