BEACHFRONT and affordable. Coopers Beach Retreat- "Tui Cottage" is a modern, comfortable beachfront bach, with its own beach access. Private and quiet it is north facing with all day sun. Sit back, relax and enjoy spectacular panoramic views across gardens to the beach and Doubtless Bay. Well appointed and fully furnished, self-contained with own BBQ area. Set on private 1/2 acre. Safe swimming beach which is also excellent for all water sports, diving, fishing,canoeing. 15 minutes from 18-hole golf course. A minutes drive to shopping centre or short walk along the beach. Ideal honeymoon destination. Escape the madness of city life and relax in peace and privacy. Enjoy the luxury of watching the everchanging mood of the sea and sky, the peace and tranquillity of this pohutukawa tree-lined beach.

"We stayed at Tui Cottage and liked it very much. We are German and travel to New Zealand often, but this place is truly outstanding! We enjoyed sitting on the beautiful deck and looking out to sea. Just a short stroll through a beautiful flowered garden directly to the beach. Inside was beautifully furnished and very clean, it felt like home. Thanks to Sue and Hugh, who are very friendly. We will definitely be back!!"

Coopers Beach Paradise

We stayed for two weeks and loved everything. Each day we enjoyed the sea view and spectacular sunsets - what a piece of paradise. The house itself is really nice and cosy, well equipped and felt like a little home away from home for us. Sue and Hugh amazed us with their friendliness and hospitality. We hope to be return one day.

Sunshine getaway

We always look forward to our sunshine getaway up at Coopers Beach. Sue and Hugh are great hosts and very welcoming. With beach access on your doorstep and being pet friendly, it allows our whole family to enjoy a beachy holiday.

Beautiful cozy apartment at the sea

Beautiful place with an amazing view of the beach! The apartment has everything you could possibly need and it was an absolute pleasure to meet our wonderful hosts. We really enjoyed our time in Cooper's beach and hopefully will come back some time in the future.

Beach at arms reach

We were welcomed by Sue and immediately felt at home. All things needed for our stay were in a large cupboard (so much better than individual ones, thanks Sue). Bedroom with awesome view of sea and large shower room. Then I noticed no washing machine, eek I had washing to do. Sue then showed me the separate laundry room attached to the main house and undercover washing line, wonderful. Great idea. My cousin was staying in campervan nearby, Sue kindly allowed them to visit and have meal with us, which was very much appreciate. We could not fault anything and lovely to be able to recycle food and packaging

Sunsets by the Sea

Dale and I absolutely enjoyed our week at Coopers Beach Retreat, it was a fantastic spot for us to kick back and relax while enjoying the brilliant sunsets from the deck. amazing place to stay

we first walked in and new we were in for a good stay, everything was nice and clean and welcoming for us to stay, had the best view to wake up to and sit out on the deck and relax and eat, was a very nice walk to the beach just down a track from the back yard, we were very happy with our stay and definitely will be back. thank you Sue & Hugh :)

An absolute gem of a stay!

We absolutely adored our accommodation. The cottage was beautifully presented and very homely and welcoming with so many extra touches We took full advantage of the track to the beach and enjoyed a stroll along the sand before hopping in for a brief refreshing dip in the ocean. Our one regret was we were only there for one night!

My daughter and partner stayed for the weekend and had an amazing time. He Even proposed to my daughter, Which she said yes. So all in all it was a magical and romantic weekend for them.

Perfect retreat

If you're looking for a beautiful bach away from the hustle and bustle, put Coopers Beach Retreat on your list! Not only is the unit clean and well-presented, but there are books and board games galore, and the kitchen has everything you need for a short or long stay. The host is extremely welcoming too. And of course, the view is breathtaking with the beach only a few steps away. Unfortunately, I had to cut my stay short, but I will most certainly return.

Peaceful and relaxing getaway

Had a very enjoyable stay. The hosts Sue and Hugh were very welcoming and helpful. The property is clean and tidy with lovely views. Only a short walk to the beach. Being allowed to take our two small dogs was a big bonus. Will definitely be keen to stay there again.
