Greeley Hideway

The owners are attentive and helpful. The space is shared.Unfortunately, in the shared space is a cat box. I don't mind pets, just wish I would have known to pack allergy medication

Would recommend for a last minute trip and one night stay

Wasn't a good fit for me and the length of stay. The yeah it was located at the bottom of the home it was very very cold and Greeley the home in the basement was freezing they only had one space heater where I had to utilize in the one bedroom they had an air mattress and the other room there was no stove to cook any food. They had two pans and they were saucepans where we couldn't cook anything. Because the weather was very cold, the first night we came home it felt like I was outside. When we went to sleep we woke up the next morning and just going to the restroom it up so arctic cold there. The only room that was the warmest was the room that had the space heater in it. So I would just recommend this place as a last minute stop for one night's day I don't know what the summer time would look like but this just wasn't a good fit for us.time night there coming home it

Owners we're very nice and made sure our visit was good.

It wasn't what we expected from the pictures on line. But they welcomed us and our two dogs. We would stay again.

What you are not told

First I want to say the hosts were very nice but there are definitely reasons we won’t go back. This was listed as 2 bedrooms. There were 2 rooms and a bathroom. One was a bedroom and one was a living/kitchenette room where I think you could put a blow up mattress. It has no door so it is not a bedroom. You can’t lock a door for privacy. The only lock was a common area door. Any one could have come in our area. There are a few other things. They have dogs and a cat that should have been mentioned and there was no air conditioning. We are from Texas we have AC. Luckily it was a cool week and we did ok. If it had been hot we would have been miserable.

Nice little place

It was an overall good experience. The place was clean, and decorated nicely. The owners gave us our privacy and were attentive to our needs. I would like to recommend putting a lock on the door between the two living spaces, this would make the renters feel a bit more secure, especially when they have young children.

About the host

Scott, Candace and Violet Welcome you to the Hideaway.

My wife and I were fortunate to move to North Hollywood when we met. We spent 5 years career building and enjoying the city and beaches. We leave a bit of our livelihood in California. We married in Santa Barbara and toured the entirety of the Pacific Coast Hwy-1

After spending my 20's in Colorado, we had enough encouragement to start our family here.
We purchased this awesome bungalow in Greeley a few years ago as our first home.

Other residents include: Hank (12 yo Mountain Cur), Barnaby (3 yo Maine Coon), Luck (6 yo Great Dane)

Why they chose this property

You will find Quiet and Solitude in the middle of the city. We have year round accommodation with 2 patios. One enclosed with a fireplace in the winter, and a garden patio with thick green grass.

Read, Sleep, Work, Play, or Commute. This is a wonderful spot.

Candace and I are explorers and have found so many amazing things in Colorado. Greeley has offered us plenty of space to share with you. You will be in a location to hit Estes Park, Fort Collins, Denver, Boulder. We are 50 minutes from everything!

We also like to walk and get outside. The Cranford and Glenmere Neighborhoods have so many different parks it'll make your head spin. Downtown keeps Friday nights packed in the summer. As we venture into our third year we are finding river access and more local shops that have exceeded our expectations.
