About this property
Among the most idyllic mountain and ocean-front views on earth. Literally.
When the mood strikes, you'll dine on the new deck overlooking a pristine bay surrounded by mountains (there's BBQ + electric smoker.) Or at the stunning birdseye oval dining table that seats 10. Or grab a snack at the enormous kitchen island that seats 8.
The main kitchen is a state of art gourmet's dream. Everything is new
in 2003-04, abundant supplies, spices, dishes, cookware, luxury appliances.
Two of the bedrooms have balconies overlooking the ocean/mountains.
Three garages and outside parking for many cars/bikes.
The coach house is self-sufficient; it can sleep 2 or 4 if you use the fold-out bed in living room. Has its own full kitchen, TV, fireplace and laundry. Also a balcony with a breakfast table overlooking the ocean.
Sechelt town is spotless and charming, it has everything including several very good restaurants, 5 minutes by car or 10 minutes by bike. Population is under ten thousand, traffic non-existent.
The climate here is gentle and modified by the ocean year-round: Last year we had snow on the ground for two days. It simply never gets very hot or very cold here, which makes it unusual for Canada!
The view is beyond worlds lovely, even if you are accustomed to oceanside living. Swimming in the ocean? Of course! If you're into fishing, probably a locally-rented boat is preferable. Also at low tide there's an abundance of delicious clams/oysters if you're into the freshest possible sea food.
We are open to an extended 1-2 month rental as we're heading to Philippines.
A housekeeper is included, we'll agree upon details.

Why they chose this property
Gibsons and the ferry to Vancouver are a half-hour beautiful drive away. The ferry is about 40 minutes to a lovely city. Then there's gorgeous Vancouver Island, just a three hours of stunning coastal twisties from here, if you head north ...
What makes this property unique
You won't find a superior ocean view! The house itself has been thoroughly renovated and with the coach house it's quite large, over 4,000 sq ft interior. The property itself is also quite large.
