Rose Cottage

This delightful cottage is everything that makes arrowtown so special.

Spacious yet cosy and steeped in history. All modern conveniences in a great location. Part of this cottage was bought down from Mace Town, a historic mining village, extended and modernisd but retaining touchs of history throughout.

Spacious inside there are three bedrooms (main with ensuite) a family bathroom, open plan living, kitchen and a double carport.
Three sets of French doors, one from the kitchen and two others from the living room lead to a sun soaked and sheltered deck creating another living space for outdoor dining and end of day relaxing. The section is fenced and the house has a great location in the heart of Arrowtown.

The property has a wood fire, heatpump and nightstore to keep the property warm in the winter.

Arrowtown is central to many ski fields and only 15 minutes drive to the Queenstown airport. Come and enjoy the different seasons in Arrowtown. Always something going on in and around the area.

Christmas family getaway
Property is aging and is in need of some TLC. Holes in walls that haven't been repaired. Painting on exterior overdue, Garden though pretty overgrown. Broken blind in bedroom. Disappointed in property for the price that we paid.

Really enjoyed our stay in Arrowtown,but would not stay at this property again,was ok but needs to be cleaner and the bedding and towels leave a lot to be desired,they were smelly and the sheets were not even pressed including pillowcases ,not even pillow protectors and the bedding was dubious.The bed in the back room smelled slept in.No point having hand wash pumps that are empty,Linen cupboard was a disaster with wet towels put in with dry ones and everything else just screwedup and shoved in was nice and warm but generally an air of neglect.I think beds and linen in general is the most important thing people look for when staying somewhere

Amazing little house. Jane was very accommodating. So cozy and great place to stay after a days skiing. Only down side would be the bedrooms could benefit from having a heater in them.

Lovely and larger than expected, perfect location and loved the dishwasher and ease of the heat pump, it kept us cozy. Shame the DVD player didn't work as there were some good movies in the cabinet. Also could have done with an extra roll of TP or 2 as there was only what was on the holder when we arrived. Overall lovely, clean and cozy, we would stay again.

Get Away
We had a great time staying at Rose Cottage mixing in some snowboarding and sightseeing. Arrowtown is a great place to base yourself if you want to visit the ski fields or just chill out.

Autumn retreat
Lovely cottage, in a great location. Comfy beds and showers with fantastic water pressure. Dont forget your soap though, like I did, as soaps/body wash not supplied.

Lovely cottage in Arrowtown
2 set of friends stayed, and the layout of the cottage was great. The cottage was lovely but special note of the renovated bathrooms which were very good. About a 15-20 minute walk into the shops and restaurants but a nice walk especially with the beautiful autumn trees to enjoy.

A lovely cottage within walking distance to Arrrowtown. Everything just as described. Everything you need is there-with the exception of heaters in the bedrooms, which were cold. But otherwise fantastic stay. Thanks Jane!

Tidy little cottage
Very well equipped and tidy kitchen. Made it easy to prepare meals. Fire + heat pump made it easy to heat the living areas. Found the bedroom areas a bit cold as only a nightstore heater down that end of the house. There were some extra duvets that we put on the beds though and that was sufficient to keep us warm at night.
