Our holiday home is in a superb location in Paihia with spectacular sea views overlooking one of Paihia's most popular swimming beaches.

It is only 10 minutes walk along the waterfront to the village and a great selection of shops, cafes and restaurants although guests usually prefer to dine on the deck and enjoy the outdoor furniture, superior bbq, electric awning and stunning views!

The split level home is elevated quiet and private. It contains two bedrooms that are well separated and in the second bedroom you can choose to have either twin singles or a super king. There is a fully equipped kitchen with walk in pantry, a spacious lounge with leather settees and breathtaking views of the Bay or native bush from all areas of the house. ALL LINEN AND TOWELS ARE PROVIDED.

This house is perfect for two couples or a family of up to five
where the double sofa bed can be used in the lounge.

Extras include Sky TV (with movie and sport channels!), WiFi, CD and a selection of novels, games and puzzles. These will help to make your Bay Of Islands holiday a very memorable one.

Lovely house in perfect location

My husband and I and our two 10 year old daughters went to Paihia for three nights and Kay’s place was perfect. Plenty of room, cozy, super clean and amazing views. The location is perfect, an easy walk to Countdown, shops, restaurants and the pier and an easy drive to Waitangi, the Russell car ferry and nearby towns. Unfortunately we didn’t cross paths with Kay but all communication was clear and timely. Highly recommend and would definitely return.

Summer Break

We enjoyed the beautiful views, and the well-equipped apartment. We were disappointed not to have air conditioning in the bedroom, though the fan was helpful. The parking would be a bit tight for larger cars.

Superb views from the dining table

The house is tucked away behind other houses in the bay and the open plan kitchen and lounge which open on to a terrace has brilliant panormic views. We stayed with our two young girls who loved the house and short walk down to the beach. The house is really well equipped with everything needed for self catering even kayaks and life jackets!

A perfect spot

We had a wonderful stay at Kay and Wayne’s place. It was a perfect place to spend a week. The house was very clean and comfortable, and the views were spectacular. We really appreciated the nice touches of some food stuffs in the kitchen. Kay and Wayne were warm and welcoming. We couldn’t have wished for a better place to rest.

Family reunion in Paihia

Really fabulous place to stay, views from the deck were tremendous, clean and spacious it was ideal for our visit to see our son and his friends after two years of covid lockdown. We will definitely be coming back next year.

Piahia Stunner!

Out family had an awesome time in Piahia. The house was absolutely stunning and out kids thoroughly loved the kayaks. The views over Piahia are amazing and the house had all the amenities you would ever need! Super clean and comfortable. Totally recommend! Thanks Kay!

Tropical tree house !

This is a wonderful property! A beautiful location, on top of the hill looking down across the beach. Warm and full of light. A wonderfully appointed kitchen and bathroom. The beds are comfortable and the house was exceptionally clean and well cared for. Undercover parking underneath. No parking for boats but this could be arranged at the marina or boat storage if needed. The Sky TV and WIFI a welcomed and well utilised extra when the weather turned during our stay! We will definitely be back!

Superb holiday home for a family of 4

This is a great house for a truly relaxing family holiday. Kay is a very gracious host, who despite living on the property, left us to enjoy the house as our own. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped for a holiday rental and great for the foodie on a self catering holiday. The location is great for access to the beach at Pahia, the Whaitangi Treaty grounds/ museum and the Whaitangi MTB park.

Incredible location has everything

Perfect location to visit Waitangi, pop across the road to the beach amd see Russell.gorgeous views across the deck. The house was well appointed and had everything we needed.

Beautiful views over the Bay of Islands

I really enjoyed my stay at Kay's property--it had stunning views of the Bay of Islands from the deck (including great sunrises), and was very well fitted out with all amenities. The kitchen was extremely well-equipped with every utensil or appliance you could possibly need. The house is spacious, clean, and bright, with fabulous views, and the owners were very responsive and friendly. I'd highly recommend staying here--I was there for 5 nights, and would love to return again sometime. It is also walking distance to Paihia and the ferry to Russell, and to the Waitangi treaty grounds, and across the street from the local beach, so a super convenient location.
