Campbells Beach Getaway with stunning views

"The Getaway" is a retreat providing the perfect spot for enjoying the beach, with a lovely sheltered tidal bay safe for swimming and kayaking. Three single kayaks stored at the property and a double kayak on the rack at Campbells beach are available for use by guests. Paddles and life jackets included.

Campbells beach is only 200 metres walk from the property, with a playground for the kids and a high tide boat ramp for the Fisherman.
Enjoy a beach walk from Campbells Beach round to Baddeleys Beach at low tide exploring the rock pools or collect cockles from the waters edge. Pack a lunch and enjoy a picnic at either of the beautiful beaches.

The many fishing spots in the area will keep the Fisherman on the water for hours.
Nearby Tawharanui Peninsula is a regional park offering white sandy beaches, diving at the marine reserve, mountain biking tracks for all levels of experience, several walking tracks and surf beaches.

"The Getaway" offers two levels and views to the sea from three of the four bedrooms. Three outdoor areas provide the opportunity to follow the sun or shade all day. Two living areas provide the space to unwind after the day's activities. Relax on the large open deck enjoying the sea views and the sound of the many native birds. At night enjoy looking at the stars bright without the lights of the city. A cosy fireplace is perfect for the winter months.

Matakana is only 7 minutes drive away to shops, cinemas and the famous Farmers Market and Morris and James Pottery.
Plenty of great places to eat out in the surrounding area including the Leigh Sawmill Cafe and numerous vineyards.

Property can sleep up to 8 adults with a bunk bed to sleep a further 2 children. Bunks are only suitable for children.

** Please note: the house is on two levels, access to the upper level containing the master bedroom, lounge rooms, dining room and deck is via internal stairs (see picture) as well as an external set via the dining room. Please check that the access is appropriate for all in your group as the kitchen is on the lower level and the dining room on the upper level.
