About this property

Casa Miravalle is a large, beautiful renovated farmhouse in the country close to Asti and Alba and in the middle of the world-famous Barolo, Barbaresco and Lange wine regions.
The area offers a large rage of excursions, wine tastings, walks, historic centers and many more.
The two story house consists of 5 bedrooms, a large kitchen, a huge portico and is more than capable of accommodating up to 10 guests.
The ground level features a 40 square meter large open plan area for cooking, eating and cozy gatherings, as well as a living room and a laundry room, and a small bathroom with a shower.
The top floor consists of 5 bedrooms and 2 more bathrooms.
A finely restored old wine cellar with brick vaulted ceilings is the perfect spot to gather on hot (or rare rainy) days. There is a ping pong table and other games available for relaxing and family sport.
Behind the house is a large covered terrace with a family size table, a perfect place to enjoy local products and whines while admiring the garden views.
Casa Miravalle has an extensive child friendly garden, fully fenced, with lots to explore. In spring 2016 we built a Swimming Pool, so you can relax and refresh yourself after an eventful day, or simply spend some of your vacation days sunbathing, swimming or playing in the water.
There are many secluded spots under shady trees, or amongst the wisterias and roses, and a very old mulberry tree whose overhanging branches form a large shady canopy.
Beach chairs and a barbecue are provided.
There is a slide for the children and a soccer field for big and small.

Erholsamer, ruhiger Aufenthalt in traumhafter Umgebung

Das Ferienhaus hat all unsere Erwartungen erfüllt. Wir waren sieben Erwachsene aus zwei Familien, die zusammen Urlaub gemacht haben + 1 Hund. Die 5 Schlafzimmer und die drei Bäder waren dabei sehr komfortabel. Wenn das Wetter mitgespielt hat, wir waren im April dort, lagen wir am Pool, genossen den schön gepflegten Garten und aßen auf der Terrasse. Aber auch innen mit der großen Wohnküche, dem Wohnzimmer und den dort vorhandenen Holzöfen war es sehr kuschelig. Christine hieß uns herzlich willkommen und kam auch kurz vorbei. Auch bei Fragen zu Adressen in der näheren Umgebung war sie sehr hilfreich. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dorthin fahren. Und nicht nur das Ferienhaus ist klasse, sondern auch die Umgebung: Wandern, gutes Essen, wenig Tourismus, Natur. Danke für den sehr schönen Aufenthalt!

A splendid house for families to vacate together

We are two families (8 people in all) who stayed in Christine’s house for a week and it was just such a pleasure: there is plenty of room to both spend time together and to have a moment on one’s own and it is a clean and friendly house to stay in. We stayed during a heat wave but the pool and fans made it alright. The kitchen is well equipped, the garden is hyggelig and we would love to return for another holiday.

Wunderbare Woche im Piemont

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Woche in diesem tollen Haus im Piemont. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig, etwas am Ortsrand, der Garten ist tatsächlich sehr großzügig und der Pool ist groß. Im Haus fehlt es an nichts - alles gut gepflegt und die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Insbesondere mit dem Rennrad/Straßenrad lassen sich tolle Touren durch die Weinhügel unternehmen. Christine war sehr freundlich -eine tolle Gastgebern. Wir kommen gerne wieder...

Our second visit was just as good as our first

Our second stay was as good as our first. It was a pleasure to finally meet Christine who is a wonderful host, very caring and swift to answer any queries. The cleaning of the house was thorough and the improvents made since our last stay were welcome. As on our last visit the wonderful pool was the highlight enjoyed by adults and children alike.

Top vakantielocatie.

Een mooie locatie om te genieten van een rustige vakantie. Zwembad een tikkie ver weg van het huis maar geen probleem. Huis is verder prima, alleen de meeste binnendeuren kunnen niet worden afgesloten. Er zit bij sommige zelfs geen klink aan. De vliegjes (vooral in de avond) waren ook wel vervelend, maar daar kan het huis niets aan doen. De omgeving is echt adembenemend met mooie glooiende wijnakkers en schitterende vergezichten.

Viel Platz für groß und klein!

Wir verbrachten im Juni 2021 als drei-Generationen-Familie zwei schöne Wochen in dem großzügigen Haus. Die Großzügigkeit bezieht sich jedoch nicht nur auf das Haus, sondern auch auf das Grundstück und den Pool. Man hat wirklich Platz: In der Küche, dem Aufenthaltsbereich in Haus, in den Bädern, auf der Terrasse, im Garten, am und im Pool. Die Schränke und Kommoden in den Schlafzimmern sind ebenfalls groß und geräumig. Der tolle Salzwasser-Pool mit Außendusche ist bei Hochsommertemperaturen zweifellos der Höhepunkt des Hauses! Er liegt den ganzen Tag in der Sonne und bekommt dadurch sehr rasch angenehme Badetemperatur, die auch kleinen Kindern gefällt. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet mit allem, was man benötigt. Auch Putzmittel, Gewürze, Essig und Öl stehen zur Verfügung. Der Gefrierschrank im Hauswirtschaftsraum ist ebenfalls auf große Gruppen ausgerichtet. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir aber die tolle Kommunikation mit Christine. Da sie deutsch spricht war es natürlich superkomfortabel. Schon vor der Ankunft hat sie alle Fragen schnell und ausführlich beantwortet, und während, aber auch nach unserem Aufenthalt fand sie bei kleinen, aber auch größeren Problemen umgehend und wirklich engagiert eine Lösung. Nochmals ganz herzlichen Dank dafür! 😊 Das Ferienhaus ist ja schon einige Jahre in Betrieb, beim ein oder anderen Punkt wäre jetzt vielleicht eine Überarbeitung erforderlich, doch insgesamt gesehen eignet sich das Haus sehr gut für eine große Familie. Wissen sollte man jedoch, dass es an fast keiner Türe im Haus einen Schlüssel gibt, und dass da auch Türen ohne Türklinken sind. Was im Beschrieb des schönen Hauses ebenfalls fehlte ist der Tatbestand, dass ins Obergeschoss eine recht steile Steintreppe geht und es teilweise zwischen und vor den Räumen im OG (zu Schlafzimmern, Bad und Spielzimmer) nochmals Stufen gibt. Das ist vielleicht für Familien mit Krabblern, bzw. kleinen Kindern wichtig zu wissen. Insgesamt verbrachten wir in Miravalle einen schönen Urlaub, zumal Portacomaro ein idealer Ausgangspunkt ist um Asti, Alba, Alessandria, Casale Monferrato aber natürlich auch Turin zu besuchen.

Tolles Haus und super nette Vermieterin

Wir waren dort mit 7 Kindern und 2 Erwachsenen für 1 Woche und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist modern eingerichtet und sehr gut ausgestattet. Die gesamte Anlage ist sehr schön und bietet viele Möglichkeiten sich zu beschäftigen. Highlight ist der große Pool mit schönen Liegen. Die Gegend ist sehr ruhig. Die Vermieterin war sehr zuvorkommend, stets erreichbar und stand immer für einen guten Rat zur Verfügung. Wenn sich die Gelegenheit bietet, kommen wir gerne wieder.

Magnifique séjour !

La maison, le jardin et la piscine sont encore mieux en vrai que sur les photos. Nous avons très bien été accueillis par Christine qui a été très gentille et serviable durant tout le séjour😊 La cuisine est très bien équipée, la place pour manger super pour 10 personnes. Les enfants ont tellement aimé qu'ils ne voulaient plus rentrer ! Nous recommandons vivement (malgré les moustiques😉)

Sehr gute Lage, um das Piemont zu entdecken! Toller großer Pool!

Der Pool ist genial und sehr groß! Im Dorf gibt es ein Café, einen Gemüsehändler, eine Apotheke, einen Tante Emma Laden, eine Bottega und ein Restaurant, was sehr praktisch ist. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und unkompliziert. Sie spricht perfekt Deutsch. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und Asti, Alba und Turin vom Haus aus erkundet!

Wonderful family holliday

The house was spotless and the ameneties very good. Lots of utensils in the kitchen, large fridge and freezer and a great sitting out area for eating surrounded by mosquito nets to make life so much easier. The pool was wonderful and adults and children alike really enjoyed it. Portacamaro is a lovely small town with a brilliant fruit and veg shop and a very good restaurant. There were a couple of minor problems which were dealt with immediately. A wonderful family Holliday. Thank you

Wir waren schon zum zweiten Mal in den Haus, es sind paar Sachen die vielleicht erneuert sein könnten aber das alles ist neben Sache. Der Aufenthalt war wie auch beim letzten Mal sehr schön, wir konnten uns sehr gut erholen, hatten sehr schönes Wetter und viel Spaß in den Pool. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Très belle maison, belle piscine et belle région

Après une première impression un peu négative liée à un nettoyage qui n'était pas optimal, nous n'avons pu que nous féliciter du choix de cette maison. Christine nous a accueillis, informés, dépannés et à répondu à chacune de nos demandes. La région, trop peu connue, mérite le détour, mais peut-être vaut-il mieux ne pas trop le dire afin qu'elle conserve cet aspect authentique qu'elle a encore aujourd'hui

Skøn beliggende hus med masser af plads og muligheder for den store familie

Skøn feriebolig med god plads og mange muligheder for den store familie. Div. legetøj i massevis var et stor plus for vores familie og det var både til indendørs og udendørs - dog kunne vi godt ha' brugt nogle flere havestole, da vi ofte måtte tage stole indefra og bruge på den udendørs terrasse. Ellers et flot udstyret hus i flotte omgivelser.

Très belle propriété dans une région classée Patrimoine mondial

Très belle maison de vacances, bien équipée, bien située au cœur du Piémont, avec une grande piscine et un terrain très agréable. La salle de ping-pong et le billard ont été particulièrement appréciés par les enfants. Séjour très agréable avec un accueil chaleureux de la propriétaire et une attention quotidienne pour s'assurer de notre bien-être. Merci beaucoup, Christine.

Wunderschönes Haus in der malerischen Gegend des Piemont

Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Das Haus ist geräumig und mit einer sehr italienischen Atmosphäre. Der Pool ist herrlich. Ideal für einen Familienurlaub (wir waren mit insgesamt 10 Kindern da!) zum relaxen und genießen. In unmittelbarer Nähe sind herrliche Weingüter, wo man ab Hof kaufen kann sowie das malerische Portacomaro und Asti. Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen!

Vacances ensoleillées

Très beau séjour,temps magnifique,un peu chaud pour les plus âgés. Maison très bien située,calme et spacieuse.La piscine était super. Le seul désagrément était la présence de centaines de moustiques. Les propriétaires étaient symphatiques et discrets. Nous avons découvert une belle région.

Ruhe und Entspannung

Schon der E-Mail-Verkehr zur Anmeldung machte uns positiv neugierig. Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Wer den Alltag hinter sich lassen möchte, Ruhe und Entspannung sucht, der ist hier genau richtig.Das Haus ist groß, die Lage ist fantastisch. Duftender Lavendel, und absolute Ruhe haben unseren Urlaub zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis gemacht. In diesem Haus hat es uns an nichts gefehlt. In der großen Küche findet man alles, was man sich wünschen kann. Alles war sehr sauber, wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und rundum gut versorgt. Ein eigener Pool auf dem Grundstück ist selten zu finden, das war das Highlight. Ein Traum für Erwachsene und Kinder. Der großzügige Pool ist so groß, dass sich Kinder darin austoben und gleichzeitig Erwachsene ihre Bahnen schwimmen können. Sogar unserer Hündin hat es hier gefallen sie hat ihre Freiheit sehr genossen. Wir möchten, uns nochmals für die wundervolle Zeit bedanken und werden sicher wiederkommen! Sommer im Piemont

Ein sehr schönes Haus, sehr ruhig gelegen. Grosszügige Zimmer, eine gut eingerichtete Küche und genügend Raum um sich auch in einer grösseren Gruppe wohl zu fühlen. Das Pool ist sehr schön und ist der ganze Tag durch besonnt. Wunderbare Sommerferien im Piemont, perfekt!

Perfekte Osterwoche

Wir (sechs Erwachsene, fünf Kinder) haben eine wundervolle Woche in einem wundervollen Haus verbracht. Dieser Garten! Idyllisch am Ende der Strasse, mitten in der Natur. Das Haus ist perfekt eingerichtet (speziell für Familien mit Kindern), Informationen und Begleitung durch Christine waren vorbildlich. Wir kommen wieder!
