About this property

Onemana, Whangamata, the perfect holiday spot!

We would like to invite you to enjoy a wonderful relaxing holiday in our Onemana beach house.

Situated at the end of a quiet cul de sac, just 3 mins stroll from the beach, the property creates the perfect relaxing atmosphere.
The view from the deck is composed of the best nature has to offer with lovely mature trees and prolific bird life.

Onemana is a small, quiet, beautiful beach with many interesting features and activities, yet only 7 mins drive from the action (shopping, supermarkets, surfing events, concerts, Beach Hop and Brits at The Beach etc.) at Whangamata. Only 25 mins from Pauanui and Tairua, and 35 mins from the events and activities at the historically famous gold mining town of Waihi.
Onemana has its own free, beach-side tennis courts, a well-equipped children's playground, a stunning (patrolled) swimming/ surfing/ snorkeling/ kayaking beach, beautiful coastal walks and The Boat Shed Cafe/ Restaurant.

The house is a Lockwood home, with all the character of a wood house, a warm cosy feeling and even the natural noises of the timber cooling in the evening.

The rooms are on two separate levels (not connected internally), with the main level upstairs. Two bedrooms upstairs with own bathroom separate toilet, laundry, full kitchen, dining/lounge area and deck (with BBQ). Downstairs is one large bedroom/living area with one separate small bunk area, a kitchenette and small bathroom (shower, vanity, toilet).

Every day is a good day at the beach but for those occasional rainy days we have a good selection of movies to watch, TV, games to play, reading material and we now have unlimited 4g wifi.

NB: The two King Single beds, in the upstairs bedroom and in the downstairs bedroom/living area, can be zipped together to form Super King beds .

The only available parking at the property is on the grass in front of the house or on the street.
All networks mobile coverage in most places.

Suitable for children over the age of 5.
This is a 'no parties' property.

Delightful

Full of character making this a true holiday home, not just a house in different setting! The deck is amazing, great setup with separate upstairs and downstairs, and a lovely short stroll to the equally delightful beach. Summer bliss!

Cozy break away

We loved our holiday such a great spot to stay. The house has everything you need. The host is fabulous and so accomodating. You can tell she wants you to have the best time while there. We would def go back there another time.

Unfortunately the weather was not the best for our stay but the property had everything you need to still enjoy your time away! The host was excellent to deal with and was kind enough to let us arrive a night early to avoid road closures.

Perfect Getaway

We stayed at 110 The Grove during some rainy weather but the house is sheltered and cosy. Heaps of space to relax and board games to play. The host was an excellent communicator and made sure any questions I had were answered, thank you!

Lovely place to stay even in torrential rain!

Very comfortable and well equipped bach with easy access to the beach, tebnis courts and community pool. Lots of space and games and tv for when the weather isnt good. Comfortble beds and separate areas were good for our family with grandparents upstairs (as was more difficult for them to manage the outside path to the downstairs area ). Owner was very flexible and let us stay longer when the roads were closed due to flooding. She kept checking on how we were and gave us some good advice.

A fabulous part of the country and the property was brilliant with everything you could need and the beach just a few minutes down the hill. Great beach, not busy. Joanna the host in regular contact and took the time to advise us of all the happenings. House split in two which the girls loved but didn't detract from a real family beach holiday.

Lovely house, beautiful location!

This was our second stay at this property, and it's a home that our family love. Clean and comfortable with everything you could need for a holiday away, and Onemana is a beautiful area for a break away. Can't wait to come back!

Outstanding Onemana

We've had just the best weekend away at this lovely place. It was perfectly beachy and comfortable, plenty of couches to snooze on and even though it seems quite little there was plenty of room for 5 adults and 3 kids to spread out or be together. Loved it! Fantastic family beach holiday

Communication and information provided was excellent. The house itself was clean, well appointed, and had plenty of room for the whole family. There was a lot of sleeping and relaxation space. The location was brilliant with just a short walk to the beach and was very convenient for other things to do in the area. We really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend this property to family groups. Thank you to the owners!

Great Family Bach

Great "old school" family bach with plenty of room for the kids and a wonderful deck and BBQ. Onemana is a terrific location for a family holiday and this bach made it very easy for us to have a relaxing time. Will definitely be back.

Loved the property

Loved the property. Very homely feel about it. The deck was our favourite spot, but when that got too hot, the house was lovely and cool. The house easily accommodated our family of 4, it was easy walking distance to the beach in a very tranquil spot. Everything was provided - towels etc, so it made our stay very easy.

I've given this property 5 stars as in the category of 'classic kiwi bach' this property ticks all the boxes. A walk to the beach, a beautiful deck with evening sun, a garden for the kids to run, easy stroll to the beach front tennis courts and positioned at the end of a quiet cul de sac. There is plenty of room with a downstairs area and second bathroom for larger groups - the property can easily accommodate 2 families. We have enjoyed some lovely summers at this property and hope to return.
