The Rose Cottage offers a semi self contained kitchenette. Breakfast is a option, just request when booking.
A great place to stay while exploring the many awesome sites and activities that Taranaki has to offer such as the very popular Taranaki Garden Spectacular Show, WOMAD held in March, going back in time while visiting the famous Tawhiti Museum. Surf Highway 45 for following the stunning Taranaki coastline. Great to come and stay while visiting family and friends or just to have a get-away from everything!

Relax and recharge
Had a week of sleeping, resting, reading, enjoying sitting outside listening to the wind, rain and birds singing. Simple but definitely adequate cottage, warm, sheltered, private.

Amazing Cosy Cottage
We absolutely loved Rose Cottage, Very cute and cosy, I’m originally from hawera and I never knew rose cottage was right around the corner, my partner loves wild life, so find out there a pet deer there made his day, and our host Gloria was so amazing and lovely, we will see you on our next stay ❤️ Jay & Kyron

Hidden Garden
A lovely tranquil stopover for us. The cottage is down a beautiful long hydrangea lined driveway and so was extremely quiet. Found the garden interesting even though weather makes February a challenging month. Gloria was very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed a nice meal in Hawera which was only a few minutes drive away.

Pretty little cottage close to Hawera
Quite,cute little cottage, was a little hard to find as Google maps tried to send us down a farmtrack nearby but not accessible to the property. On arrival we were we welcomed by the host, Gloria. Internet was patchy at best, but we are told this is to improve with fibre coming. Overall a short but pleasant stay.

Slept like a log
I never sleep well when I stay away from home. But I fell asleep in 5 mins and struggled to get out of bed in the morning. So quiet and peaceful. With family living nearby, I will be back for sure 😁
