Our Bach is our "Home away from Home " our favourite place to be.....
Enjoy the views, the lake, the bush, the peace and quiet ....
So much to do or so little?? You choose ....
Iveagh Bay is a tranquil and beautiful Bay on the edge of lake Brunner and at the foot of Mt Te Kinga....5kms south of Moana.
Moana has a service centre for fuel and groceries and a Public Bar and Restaurant.

Great stay at Blyth Bach

Iveagh Bay is a lovely place to stay and this holiday house was close to the lake, had nice views and was very quiet. Spacious for a larger group.

Fishing trip

The overall impression for the property was good , location great, facilities and utilities good. Communication from property owner was prompt and friendly. A great stay and good time was had by all, thanks Pip.

Good location and easy access to boat ramp also a nice quiet place with great view of the lake. We enjoyed playing pool and the kayaks were great it was nice to just chill out and relax. Unfortunately the site you go through it makes it hard to contact owner by phone as it blocks out number with xxx which can make it quite difficult to communicate but despite this we did enjoy our stay and it is a lovely spot.🙂

Nice place to stay with good spacious rooms

Owner very good communication, was hard to find in the dark (but was aware of this). The place was warm and loved all the space we had! Was great for getting ready for Around Brunner Race. Totally recommend!

This property is in a picturesque location and is fabulous for a family. It's a one minute drive to the boat ramp and a few minutes from the forest walk. Communication from the owners was superb and they were very flexible when we needed to change dates. We will definitely stay here again!

Fantastic Stay

We throughly enjoyed our Long Weekend. Everything you could need; well equipped and set up perfectly for an extended family group. Peacefull setting and a short stroll to the lake. Safe swimming for the kids. Pip was great to deal with.

Lakeside paradise

What a wonderful bach, equipped with everything you need. Kids loved the downstairs area, while Dad loved the peace of cooking upstairs with a view. Kayaks were an added bonus which the boys spent plenty of time on, despite the rain. Thank you so much for sharing this Lake Brunner gem with us.

We are now in love with Lake Brunner. A magical corner of NZ.

Bach was perfect for our needs. Clean, tidy and well appointed...with a 2 minute walk to the Lake. Would recommend.

Great place to rent, we stayed for 4 nights over Christmas. This is in a great location in a quiet neighbourhood, really close to boat ramp which is a bonus.

Great place to chillax!

This is a wonderful place to kick back and relax. With having the garage area with it's pool table, dart board, kitchen and beds, there is plenty of space for everyone and gives something extra to do if weather is bad. (Not that it was an issue for us!) Great to have kayaks to use too

We are Pip and Pete Blyth and we have two children George 18yrs and Susannah 8 yrs
We live in Sefton on a lifestyle block just north of Rangiora....North Canterbury...New Zealand.
We have a love of the great outdoors and love going to Lake Brunner for holidays.
Our Bach is our home away from home.
One of our favourite places to be.
We started renting out our Bach in August 2017 and are enjoying sharing our home with others.

Why they chose this property

We purchased our Bach at Iveagh Bay as it is beautiful.. secluded and quiet.
Away from the hustle and bustle of a town.
Our Bach is very handy to the lake for all watersports.
There is no through traffic making it less populated and safer for kids to venture out on bikes and kayaks....

What makes this property unique

Our Bach is proving to be popular as we have converted our garage into a bedroom /living room/games garage can accommodate another family as has 3 queensize beds.
Everyone seems to be enjoying using the pool table and Dart board.
Our Bach is nicely appointed behind all the other bachs and boasts privacey and lots of parking space for boats.
The main living area is upstairs and the views of the lake and surrounds are outstanding....
We have three kayaks available for guest use.
All guests are expected to leave our Bach clean and tidy for all to to clean yourself or a cleaner is available for $65 bookings essential.
All guests are required to bring own pillowslips, towels and cleaning cloths.
Linen available $15 per bed Towels $15 per load of towels.
