very peaceful

The cottage is very well organised, very clean and welcoming. The owner has decorated the interior beautifully. The deck is a lovely place to spend time relaxing and the large doors were perfect to keep the cottage cool on very hot days. Its just a short stroll to the square and all the cafes and bars and boutique shops.

Great place, great location, great host

The property was better than expected! great doors that open up to the deck. Host was great, as place got booked on the dates I was after but let me know when that booking was canceled/changed. Diana was also very accommodating of Mum and I's needs and although we had car trouble... we had a great weekend at this property. Thanks

Super cozy cottage

This was a mid winter stay and the fireplace was absolute bliss! Really well equipped cottage with everything we needed for a lovely weekend break away. Would love to return over summer to make use of the fabulous deck and outdoor furniture. While it’s wonderful as is, it would be even more perfect with the addition of wifi and pillow protectors for extra guest hygiene and comfort. Many thanks!

Had a great time, the location was amazing as it was close to the wineries and the town centre.

Cute, neat, tidy, and perfect for a couple having a longer stay as it had a good kitchen and lounge.

Comfortable and great location

This is a great home base for exploring Martinborough. It's close enough to the square to be able to walk in, but far enough that you can have some peace and quiet. Only negative thing is that there are some dogs in the neighborhood who bark occasionally.

Needs a good spring clean

The kitchen, kitchen appliances, toilet and shower and linen etc were clean. The kitchen was well stocked with condiments tea coffee etc, the property is well equipped and had all appliances needed, the bed was comfortable. When wind came up on our first night there was constant banging which stopped us sleeping. We had to find the source and see if the noise could be stopped so we could sleep. We stuffed a folded piece of paper down the side of the front door which to stopped it rattling, lowered the blinds in bedroom so that the steel piece rested on the window sill and didn't bang against the window frame, so this noise stopped. Guests need to be told this remedy, or drafts stopped. Bathroom door also rattled when closed. Walls and corners, and glass picture frames TV Screen, and cabinet need a good clean - cobwebs need to be removed from corners and other parts from ceilings. Came home a night early, as for the price we paid we weren't prepared to do any spring cleaning, but the sun light made it hard to not see the need for a clean, which didn't make for a pleasant stay.

Fantastic location

Lovely little cottage with everything you could need for a weekend away. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable bed. The garden was lovely as was the fire for the cold evenings. There is no wifi at this property which surprised me since I've come to expect this. However it was good to have a break from technology so I think a bonus.
