Flat one level Bach , easy access, open plan living.
Large bathroom with great water pressure.
Playground within walking distance.
Freshly baked bread at the local dairy on Sundays is a must for the bacon and egg brunch.
An easy 5 minute stroll to the beach,Fish n chip shop, Dairy and the Himatangi beach club.
We also have a a great choice of board games and DVDs so you don’t even have to leave the comfort of your R n R stay.
Special conditions:
Linen and towels provided.
No cleaning fee - please leave property how you find it.
Popper scopper and a doggie doo bin is also provided.
Take all rubbish with you when you leave, there is a compost bin provide for all food scraps to go into.
Council rubbish bags can be purchased from the dairy and Monday is rubbish collection day.

Great place

The house was perfect for our stay. It had everything we needed and some. Classic kiwi bach with movies and board games galore. House was clean and tidy with plenty of space for everyone. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Updated Kiwi Retro Bach

This bach was even better than the photos. The retro touches were fantastic. The bach has everything you need and more. We had a few rainy days but there were plenty of games and the covered outdoor area to keep us entertained - and of course the spa pool was nice too. Great that we could bring our dog. Lovely family get away and nice and close to the beach.

Another amazing stay

This was our second stay at this amazing home. Not only is the location great, but the home is perfect for a family beeak. With two little children the drive from Wellington is quick and easy which means we can make the most of the days away. The facilities at the home include books, toys and games which means we didn't have to pack the car full of our own. The host is prompt and great to liaise with. Our highlights were fish'n'chips on the beach as the sun set, relaxing on the front deck while the kids explored the yard, bike riding around town and at the park...highly recommend this host and their home.

My Wife and I stayed at Himatangi for 3 days.The property was very clean and tidy. The setup was very well organised, did not have to take anything apart from our food and clothing. We would recomend the stay to anyone..

The ultimate Kiwiana experience

This holiday home was so beautiful. A truely homely feeling, clean and tidy, and so relaxing. We were reminded of our childhood as we explored our holiday home. The decor was so beautiful and the small Kiwiana peices of furniture were just priceless. A fully stacked kitchen and ample space in the kitchen and refridgerator. So many games for our two children to amuse themselve, not to mention the amazing selection of DVD's. Our kids were fully entertained with the outdoor games and trampoline also. The spa was absolutely amazing and the fairly lights set the scene. The best part for us was the outdoor shower. What a beautiful way to end the day after an amazing day at the beach. The section was fully fenced and safe for our wee dog which was amazing. We cannot thank Karen enough for letting us stay at her beautiful beach house. A totally relaxed and wonderful holiday. Many thanks Karen.

Nice getaway

We had a lovely stay at the Bach. The weather wasn’t very nice so it was perfect to have a spa. Plenty of games and DVDs for the kids.

A Real Beauty

Perfect place for our dogs. Fully fenced with tennis balls and leads to use. Plenty of games and a great music selection. Lovely home abd a yummy treat was left for us. We will definitely use again.

Very clean, lovely comfy bed, very quiet and peaceful. So pleased dogs were welcome, they had a fantastic holiday as did we. Loved the spa pool and hot outdoor shower.

Classic kiwiana

We loved our stay, the nostalgic retro kiwiana was amazing, everything you needed and much more. The outdoor area was a great set up. We made great use of the fire and games in the dodgey weather. Would definitely stay again!!

Great place for a break away
