About this property

Our Kiwi bach is a warm cosy much loved suntrap. This property is perfect for the family holiday (Pet friendly)or for a group of friends just wanting to get away from it all. Also ideal for a one night stay over. Te Anau offers the beauty of the mountains and Lake with the natural wildlife being very special. Sitting out on the deck you can take in the relaxing atmosphere of TeAnau with the view of the mountains and the sound of the bird life.
With being so handy to town its a lovely stroll in to dine out and have a couple of drinks or to take the family to a nice cafe for lunch..
We have 4 Push bikes available for your use at any time, boules, quoitze,crochet and a bouncy trampoline and a small sandpit for the kids. There is board games and DVDs for those wet days!
Set in a safe quiet friendly neighbourhood with an extra large back yard with plenty of parking space. We would like to share with you our piece of paradise.

Perfect paradise

Only our first visit

Small but fully functional bach with an easy walk to town and lake. Everything worked, the bach is comfortable and contained. We have noted Laybak for a return visit.

Great house, with all the little touches

A great weekend away in Ta Anau. House was cosy and well presented, with lots of little touches and extras, like condiments, herbs, toiletries, etc. Loved the large, fully fenced lawn for the dog.

We loved this cosy little property. Close to the shops, lovely back yard and well equipped with everything we needed. We have to mention the cleanliness……. It was impeccable. I am a clean freak myself and this property exceeded my own standards! Would absolutely stay again.

Fabulous little getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was really clean and comfortable had absolutely everything we needed and was close to town. Loved the deck and bean bags for catching the afternoon rays with a glass of wine.

Its ok

This place could do with a bit more comfort. Sofa and beds were not that comfortable. Towels were thin, bed sheets on the main bed had some residual hairs on them. If you use the washing machine and dryer, they are in the living room/kitchen, so its noisy. We stayed in nine different places during our South Island trip and this was the only one we left a day early to move on. Got the rainy days blues here.

Nice bach, well equipped with sunny covered deck area. Great base to explore a fantastic region. Maybe a bit too pet friendly for our liking, but the kids loved the open space and outdoor games.

We live on a lifestyle block at Browns in Soutrhland and love to holiday in TeAnau, The beauty of the Lake Bush and Mountains are very special and we are lucky enough to Airbnb 2 properties in TeAnau. I have travelled extensively and enjoy meeting and talking with guests.

Why they chose this property

We love to holiday in our typical Kiwi Batch with a large section there is plenty of outdoor space and its great to sit on the deck at night and watch the sun go down. My husband went to school in TeAnau so its nice to come and see friendly faces of the past.
