*Diamond Solitaire is the only 1-bedroom unit on the top floor of the 5-star Diamond Beach resort at the end of the famous Galveston Island seawall. The unit's private balcony has expansive views of the beach and 750' lazy river. The resort also has a 300' outdoor cascade pool, 2 hot tubs, indoor heated pool, cabanas and grills to reserve, sand volleyball court, stadium-seating movie theater, professionally-designed gym, game room with arcades, pool table, and more. The unit also has a Tempurpedic king bed, fold-out sofa in the living room, 2 TVs, well-stocked kitchen, WiFi, Amazon Echo and FireStick to keep you company or play your favorite movies or music. This is the cutest condo, perfect for a weekend getaway. It had everything you might need, was clean, and was decorated so cute. We relaxed and enjoyed the amenities. The lazy river was especially nice. Can’t wait to go back again!

We ended up not even staying at this property. The owner’s description of the “expansive views of the beach” from the private balcony are not true. The Juliet balcony was maybe 5-6 feet across and enclosed in a corner of the building. While the unit itself was decorated well, there are literally no windows at all, other than the glass door to the small balcony. The owner supplied his cell number and was fairly responsive until I expressed concern. He then did not respond at all. Lastly, he kindly offered to leave us an island treat or drink, which was not there when we checked in. If you care at all about views of the beach, do not recommend.

This is the 2nd time we stayed in this condo. The view from the balcony is gorgeous and the condo is well stocked. The hosts are very gracious and easy to reach. Definitely going back next year. We were there on our honeymoon and they left us a card, roses and a bottle of champagne. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

Ain't scared of no tropical storm
Didn't think it would turn into hurricane Beryl, but rode it out with my five year old grandson. Felt safe and secure during storm and grandson slept right through. We did get to enjoy the amenities the day before and can't wait for next trip back. Owners were great and more than accomodating.
