Large home, plenty of outdoor space and wonderful mountain views. Pet friendly
Home away from home, this property is on the outskirts of Twizel township. Handy to the village but with such a peaceful rural and mountain outlook you really feel relaxed and away from it all. There's plenty of outdoor space for the kids or dog to use up energy and plenty of indoor space for everyone to enjoy. A great BBQ area at the front for alfresco dining. With a queen bedroom (with ensuite), two double bedrooms, and a rumpus room with 3 singles ( extra guest charge for use) there's space for two families or a group of friends. A perfect spot to base yourselves while enjoying all the activities the area has to offer, the A2O bike trail, golf, fishing, hiking, skiing or simply enjoying the magnificent scenery. Lovely river walk from the front yard.

A very enjoyable stay, the house was close to amenities and the cemtre of town, but very peaceful. Great view of mountains. Equipped with everything we needed, it was great to stay in a home after hotels.I wish I had taken my dog with me - I will, next time. Thank you for the hospitable stay.
This was an ideal property for young children and the dog being fully fenced. We had 3 children 2,5,and 7 so was good to know they could be outside and not get off the property.Likewise for the dog.An area that could be improved would be having towel rails in the bathrooms or hooks for them on the back of the door. With nine people we were hanging towels overtop of showers and backs of chairs. Great having a bath for the children.BBQ and surrounding area was great.Kitchen was well supplied with pots, pans and dishes.Unfortunately both bottle bins were full when we arrived but contacted Clare and she advised us where to put our bottles.Clare was very efficient in dealing with any queries. We had a great weekend and watched the 40 year old sky dive for her birthday, Bonus for the weekend was the car club event that was being held in Twizel, Great drive past on Friday night and the opportunity to look at all the cars on Saturday morning.
