This was booked and paid for a month in advance. The booking was cancelled by host the day of check-in which left me and my children without a place to stay for the night.

Terrible instructions on accessing property

Two couples. Instructions to pick up key were useless. Key was located in a key safe attached to the fence of an adjacent property. Had to call owner to instruct us on how to find it. Plus code for the key safe was not provided.Wet linen was hanging in both bedrooms, making the apartment smell.the closets of the bedrooms

It was a struggle to open door to apartment. Water power very weak. Strong smell of bleach in apartment. Didnt receive check in instructions till day before. Property manager and cleaners are lovely, and prompt responses. Appreciated late check out of 1200. Thank you

Very confusing check in. I use Wotif to book the place then some random third party called vrbo sends me an email to say to log in and create an account. Never heard of them before. When I try to log in, vrbo website says there's are issues at their end. When I do finally get in, there are no details of my trip. I ring vrbo and the guy I was speaking to escalated this to IT. Funny thing is vrbo IT got back to me two days after my stay. The vrbo staff member did however request the direct host (not related to Wotif or vrbo) to contact me asap, which they did. The vrbo staff member was also nice enough to follow up the next day (which was the day of check in) to make sure I was contacted by the host. Something positive there. Now issue was with the direct host, they forget to tell me the access code for the key, which was some random place to pick it up from.I left many messages as I was waiting to be contacted by host. Took good 20 minutes for them to get back to me whilst I was on the street of the place I was meant to be staying at. Very stressful indeed. Good luck.
