Rivendell is nestled in the Maritime Forest on Bald Head Island. Enjoy sounds of nature in this pristine seaside home. Just minutes to beach access, restaurants and shopping. Enjoy all the comforts of home in this sleep seven home. Getting around the island is made easy in one of the two, four-passenger golf carts that come with the rental of this home. Enhance your experience with optional membership to Bald Head Island Club (available at separate pricing).

Sleeps 7 (max.). 3 bedrooms (1Q-1Q-1D,1T). 3 full baths. 1 half bath. (2) 4 passenger carts. WiFi. Four minutes to beach access.

Check-in and out days in summer season is Sunday-Sunday. Ferry reservations should be made to coincide with the assigned check-in/out times which are 4:30pm property check-in and 10:00am property check-out. Ferry reservations should be made no earlier than 4:00pm. for arrivals and no later than 10:30am for departures. There are no accommodations made for early check-in or late arrivals.

Spacious, gracious and welcoming

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great house and quiet location. Lot's of porch (screened and unscreened) to enjoy reading and relaxing. Kitchen is generously sized so multiple people can work without getting in each other's way. Bikes (and equally important, an air pump) were in the garage as well as beach umbrellas and chairs. Made for a very pleasant week at the beach.

Great Experience

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is great. Felt super isolated and private. Everything was clean. Kitchen is great and well stocked with cookware. Beds were not the most comfortable, but fine. Plenty of bath and beach towels. I'd recommend a first aid kit, labeling the light switches, and a bigger TV. But great overall!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Excellent experience. The home was very nice, modern, clean and accurately described on the Intracoastal web site. The location is excellent for those looking for a quiet stay and it is also central to the island, making it convenient to get anywhere. If you take children, beware of the alligator that likes to sunbathe on the golf course sand trap in front of the house. Part of the charm of Bald Head! You will not be disappointed with this house.
