There’s no end to the outdoor activities you can enjoy here, from mild scenic hikes to ultra-athletic pursuits, and we’re not limited by season. Head out on a fall colors bike ride, ski or snowshoe, go fly fishing, or climb the fourteeners! And as for the great indoors, we have plenty of restaurants, shops and historical attractions.

Getting Around:
Leadville is a very walkable city, driving to downtown is recommended from Grand West Resort. Downtown Leadville has lots of street parking and public parking areas.

Altitude sickness is real. In Leadville/ Twin Lakes, the elevation can be up to 10,000 feet. Symptoms can include dizziness and nausea, so please be mindful of this. We cannot offer refunds for guests experiencing altitude sickness. If you anticipate being affected, we recommend obtaining insurance at the time of booking.

Great Family Get-away!

We had a great family get-away at this duplex lodge. It was clean and very spacious. Even the kitchen was spacious! Conveniently located about 10 minutes to Ski Cooper and minutes from Leadville. We'd definitely stay again!

Awesome place, awesome hosts!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here! Great location: about 5-10 minutes away from downtown Leadville as well as Turquoise Lake. Great views, and great interior!
