3 comfy bedrooms accommodate up to 5 guests. Two bedrooms have a queen bed and one bedroom has a twin bed. The large master bedroom suite includes an adjustable bed, walk-in closet and a private bath. You'll find sanitized linens and towels on site.
There are two full baths, one with a shower/tub and one with a walk in shower. A full laundry room exits to a private outdoor shower. Hang your bathing suits and beach towels on the handy clothesline.
Enjoy a partial water view from the front deck which offers outdoor seating on a sun dappled porch surrounded by tall oak trees. Lots of birds! A private rear deck offers seating at a classic picnic table with an umbrella overlooking a spacious green yard shaded by mature trees.
Take a short walk to the beach (Norman E Kilpp Marine Park, 0.1 mile) overlooking Gardiners Bay and Shelter Island. If you walk or bike to the beach you won't need a parking permit.
Stroll the length of the beach to the jetty at Youngs Point where you can see the sunset, moonrise, nearby Greenport village, Shelter Island, and the ferry! Birding enthusiasts can view endangered terns and plovers in their nesting area along the beach. Majestic osprey can often be seen nesting and fishing here.
Drive 5 minutes to historic, charming Greenport village for coffee, bars, shopping, and restaurants. Enjoy boat watching and walking the wharf, take a ride on the beautifully restored antique carousel at Mitchell park. Walk, bike, or drive onto the ferry to explore exclusive Shelter Island.
Two bikes (bring your own helmets) are provided for local travel to town and nearby beaches. You don't need beach gear because beach chairs, umbrella, and a soft sided cooler are provided. You won't need a parking permit if you bike or walk to the beach!
If you own a boat on a trailer, kayaks, canoes, SUP, windsurfer, or any type of watercraft you can bring it along! With a town permit you can use the boat ramp at Norman E Klipp Marine Park (0.1 mile). It will accommodate any size boat. Put in at the ramp to access sheltered Gull Pond (ideal for kayaking and canoeing) or Peconic and Gardiners Bay (boaters paradise).
