About this property
The Gypsy Caravan awaits.
Built by a local artisan, she's traveled the back roads of Otago, and is now ready for your overnight adventure!
Set in the heart of Lake Hawea, in a secluded quiet spot behind a cottage, with mountain views.
1 min walk to the cafe/Supermarket, 3 to the pub, and 5 to the lake. Easy access to lakefront+riverside walking/bike paths, as well as hill walking nearby.
Relax and dine outside on your own terrace, with gas BBQ and evening lights.
2 person maximum, Not child-friendly I'm afraid...
"Cosy" inside - so best with good weather!
Inside the eclectic high-vaulted interior is a Double bed, full cooking facilities, a kettle, toaster, and bathroom with electric flush cassette toilet + sink
Outside, a unique balcony shower + 90 l fridge
Access is via the cottage parking area.
Like all good camping setups, there are a few things that are listed in the instruction manual you can read on arrival, like hot water heating, etc
Most lights are 12 v electric, but there are 240v power points for your chargers, etc, just please turn everything off if you are going to be away.
The Cassette toilet will be emptied daily during your stay.
