The space
Are you putting off getting the car serviced or calling the mother-in-law back?
Did you reply ‘You too” when the cashier said, “How are you?”
Experiencing a bit of Groundhog day?
It might be time for a break. Ohhhh Yeah, it’s definitely time for a break. You can leave the kit-kat behind because Beach, Please is your answer.
Set in native surroundings with views of Lake Reeve and the Alpines, and a short stroll to 90-mile beach - Beach, Please has you covered.
To get into the nitty gritty, Beach, Please is a 3-bedroom, 1 bath overlooking one beauty of a lake.
Bedroom 1 is for the big kids. It’s the master suite.
A pillowy soft queen sized bed with more throw cushions than you’ll know what to do with and a rocking chair because who doesn’t love a rocker?
Open the curtains early in the morning to wake up with the wildlife and watch the crisp morning air dissipate over the lake.
Bedroom 2 is for the other big kids.
Another pillowy soft queen size bed fit for the world's most enjoyable sleep in.
Bedroom 3 is for the little kids.
A bunk bed situation that’s fit for a sibling squabble. Who gets the top bunk?
A double on the bottom and a single on top, with the added flexibility of a surprise trundle bed.
A little TV and ample floor space for some games.
There’s a fully functioning laundry at your disposal with an entrance to the bathroom. It’s a basic set up, a toilet and a shower for a post swim rinse. It’s not fancy, but if you’re spending more time in the bathroom than out, it might be best to consult your doctor.
The kitchen and living room is what a real estate agent would describe as ‘an entertainers delight’.
Sink? Got one. A brand new dishwasher and fridge? Got it. A work bench big enough to play sports on. Got it.
In the lounge, keep the curtains drawn with the outdoor lights on and watch the fat possums eat the seed out of the bird feeder and the kangaroos bound on over to stare at you like you're in a human zoo.
With 2 large leather couches, a flat screen TV, a selection of DVDs and numerous board games, this is the perfect time to reignite the family feud from the last game of monopoly.
In Summer, we’ve got an air conditioner to make your stay that little bit more comfortable.
In Winter, there’s a Coonara fireplace to warm your loins.
If you enjoy going to a cafe for breakfast and coffee when on holiday? Ha, good luck.
You’re the barista here, with a coffee bean grinder and Sunbeams finest coffee machine your morning coffee is ready quicker than you could say “double shot almond macchiato with 1 sugar please!”.
It’s highly recommended that you bring ample supplies to do cook-ups. There’s a general store in Golden Beach, but you won’t want to stress about that.
The fridge is large so fill her up and ensure the drinks are cold.
The phone reception is beautifully lackluster here, but that’s exactly how it should be.
A stay here is an escape. Beach days followed by a family cooked meal and movie/games nights. The only connectivity that we’re promoting here is between yourselves, but if this is not enough, the WiFi is pretty good too.
What you’ll need to bring.
Yourself.
Family and/or friends (optional).
Your dog (block is not fenced).
Clothes.
Food.
A speaker or any other essentials.
Good vibes.
We’ve got the rest covered.
Did we mention that linen is included? Come be at one with a top-sheet.
I told you, we’ve got it all covered.
Have you booked yet? If not, take another look at the photo of that sensational park bench made by the local mens shed.
That could be you sitting on that, cold beverage in hand watching the sunset over the lake. Try to resist booking now. You can’t. By the end of your stay, you might even miss the sound of the incessant squark of the cockatoos.
