About this property
Genuine suburban Tokyo living in modern big house. 10 mins by train to Shinjuku!
Want to experience genuine suburban living in a vibrant Setagaya suburb just 10 minutes by train out from Shinjuku and 15 minutes from Shibuya? You can use our house that we use throughout the Japan winter, if you treat it like we would. We are a 10 minute walk from the Chitosekarasuyama Station on Keio Line, where the Limited Express train now stops!
It is a quiet area, and we don't want to be a nuisance to our neighbors, so we want to minimize people moving in and out frequently. Therefore we have set a minimum stay of 4 weeks. You can stay less than that, but the pricing will be as if you stayed four weeks - but judging from the pricing I see of other Tokyo houses, you might find our place cheaper anyway!!
The house can sleep 6 comfortably, but up to 9 or 10 could stay for a short while if they are happy to sleep on our sofa which reclines to flat, and/or on our big beanbag.
The photos would suggest that there is only single bed in each of the non master-bedrooms, but these are actually two single beds stacked on top of each other.
The office space has a docking station you can connect your laptop to use three screens, keyboard, and mouse. (if your laptop is compatible).
Our family uses the house each year from November through to March/April. So it is fully kitted out.
