Each person after the first 2, will be charged an additional $30/night.
Due to the delicate nature of rural utilities, only paying guests are welcome to use the property. No gatherings or parties.
The Bunkie is a STAND ALONE structure, separate from the Beach House. Consider this if traveling with young kids.
This cozy bunkie (10’ x 14’) sports a comfy King sized bed, vaulted ceiling, great views and a covered deck. THIIS IS THE ONLY CLIMATE CONTROLLED AREA at the property.
The space
The Bunkie is a pine clad oasis, with double sliding patio doors overlooking the Bras d’Or Lakes. Inside is a monochromatic collection of West Coast art. The Bunkie is the only climate controlled area.
Everything else is in your private adjacent building:
* small loft upstairs with two single beds,
* sitting area with a Queen sized Murphy bed
* kitchenette ( kettle, griddle, m/w, mini fridge, 2 burner hot plate, Nespresso machine, toaster),
* powder room.
* SHOWER IS AL FRESCO.
I want to provide guests with beautiful, hotel grade linens. If I cannot get your towels cleaned after your departure, I will be asking for a $30 “Towel Replacement Fee” per ruined towel. “Robe Replacement Fee” is $150.
Please call the fire safety number provided after 2:00 pm (14h00) each day to see if outdoor fires are allowed on that day. Fines are huge. The property is in Victoria County.
Guest access
The entire Beach House with its Bunkie, kitchen area, and outdoor shower, are all for your own private use. Just steps to the shore.
Other cottagers may also be at the beach. And all are welcome to use the playhouse (small kids will need to be supervised by parents.) The playhouse is not part of your rental for liability reasons, but you are welcome to enjoy it. Similarly, there is no charge to use the kayaks or the paddle boards as they are not part of your rental, but there to be enjoyed with responsible adult supervision should they get installed.
Other things to note
There are 3 kayaks and 2 paddle boards at the beach. They are on a first come, first use basis.
There is a private road to The Bunkie, should Mother Nature make ruts in the road, SUV’s and trucks have no problem. If coming by car, I have a solution for getting you to your bunkie.
