Pembrey Paradise in Cowes
About the home
“Pembrey Paradise” is a delightful single-storey family home in Cowes just a short drive or comfortable walk from the beach and supermarkets, restaurants & cafés of Cowes. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:
Indoor Areas
The central hallway provides access to a front Living Room (with 55" TV and a kids mini fuzbol table), Bedroom 1, which features a WIR and ensuite (with shower & bath) and through to the large open plan Kitchen/Dining/Family Room (with 55" smart TV & plenty of board games) which flows out to the rear covered Verandah. A side passage provides access to Bedroom 2 (with BIR) a fully equipped Laundry (with washing machine & clothes dryer), a Bathroom (with bath & shower) and a separate Toilet. At the rear of the home are Bedrooms 3 and 4 (each with BIR).
Outdoor Areas
The rear covered Verandah (with 4-burner gas BBQ & 6-seater table) overlooks the fully enclosed rear yard, which is perfect for children. There is a small childrens cubby on the rear Verandah, plenty of indoor & outdoor toys to keep the kids amused plus a mobile Basketball Ring in the front driveway. There is space for 2 vehicles (cars and/or a boat) in the driveway, with additional street parking available, plus there are vehicle gates at the end of the driveway providing access to the rear yard if required.
Just 100m down road is the huge Shoalhaven Playground, with a family picnic area, electric BBQs, swings, slides, undercover seating, plenty of open spaces for ball games, walking and bike riding paths.
Kitchen
The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Nespresso pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, fridge, dishwasher, 900mm electric oven and induction cook top.
Heating/Cooling Systems
There is a wall mounted reverse cycle air conditioner in the Kitchen/Dining/Living room, plus four additional stand-alone heaters and fans which can be used where required.
Bedding Configuration
This home has 9 beds, accommodating up to 12 guests:
Bedroom 1: One King bed
Bedroom 2: Two sets of Single bunks
Bedroom 3: One Queen bed
Bedroom 4: One Tri-bunk and one Single Mattress
Please note: The Tri-bunk has a double bed base with a single bed above it.
There is also a small fold out Single bed in the front Lounge, suitable for a child.
Linen
It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.
Peak Periods
Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm unless by prior arrangement. Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.
Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies
Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies.
