About this property
Leafy Hideaway in St Kilda
Welcome to our spacious dual-level residence, nestled behind a charming Victorian mansion in the vibrant neighbourhood of St Kilda East.
Our place is the perfect choice for those seeking a quiet and serene home base that's just a stone's throw from Melbourne's best attractions.
Whether you're here for business or pleasure, you are just a short stroll from Chapel St, Windsor Train Station and St Kilda Road trams, giving you easy access to the very best of Melbourne. Free parking.
Our property is in its own building at the back of the Victorian mansion.
When arriving to the property, you'll be greeted by a leafy (depending on seasons) front yard.
Open the front door to access the main area on the roomy ground floor where you'll find a kitchen, the bathroom, as well dining area and living room with TV.
Climb the stairs and you will find a generously sized bedroom with high ceilings, lots of natural lights and built-in wardrobe (with mirror) for your comfort.
There is a private space to park your car at the back of the house with a direct access to the apartment.
The entirety of the apartment is yours. Please note the front yard is also shared with another property where a lovely couple lives full time.
Guests will be given remote access to the property. We are available to help you in case you have any question or issue.
St Kilda is a seaside playground with a soulful vibe, epitomized by its expansive beachfront and the historic Luna Park, an amusement park that's been delighting visitors since 1912. The neighbourhood is also famous for its vibrant arts scene, including live music venues and theatres, and its annual events like the St Kilda Festival which fills the streets with music, dance, and performances.
Just a short walk away, Acland Street offers a culinary feast with its renowned cake shops, eclectic eateries, and trendy cafes. The street is a cultural hotspot too, hosting various outdoor art shows and markets. For a more tranquil experience, the St Kilda Botanical Gardens provide a peaceful retreat with beautifully curated flower beds and serene ponds.
St Kilda is well-connected by public transport, with multiple tram routes, including the 16, 96, and 12, providing easy access to Melbourne’s CBD and surrounding suburbs. The tram ride to the CBD typically takes about 25-30 minutes. For cyclists, the dedicated bike paths along the beachfront lead to the city centre in approximately 20 minutes. Driving to the CBD is also an option as it is very close. There is ample parking available throughout the neighbourhood for those who prefer to drive.
The front yard is shared with another apartment (a couple and their Maltese dog).
The property doesn't have a washing machine nor a dishwasher.
There is a laundromat literally around the corner (few minutes' walk).
- Please be mindful of our neighbours and keep noise to a minimum
- On checkout, kindly empty fridge, put trash in the bins outside and return clean dish/cutlery into cupboards.
