Situated across from 100's of acres of desert preserve with access to trails through a forest of Joshua trees and junipers, this is your home base for exploring the backcountry of Joshua Tree National Park, while being only a short distance to Downtown Joshua Tree and Pioneertown.

This rustic, spacious, newly built cabin sits next to a one-hundred-year old water tower, a true historic landmark of California. Guests can climb the three-story tower to experience unparalleled views of the area and some of the best stargazing. Relax under the stars on the 2.5-acre property and experience dramatic views of the surrounding city lights, boulder-strewn mountains and dense Joshua Tree forests. You'll be greeted by an abundant of wildlife in perfect solitude.

Sleeping Area: A total of four guests can be accommodated with sleeping areas containing excellent views. Bedroom includes a double bed, closet, wardrobe hangers, side tables and bedside lighting. Additionally, there are two twin beds that can accommodate more guests in the living area.

Bathroom: The bathroom has a bathtub, a shower, a sink, and a toilet. Towels and linens and hair dryer are kindly provided.

Kitchen: The kitchen comes fully equipped with everything that guests might need to prepare their own meals, and a large wooden dining table to enjoy them at. (4-burner electric range, 10 cu ft. refrigerator/freezer; porcelain deep country-style sink; counter top appliances include: coffee maker; full set of flatware/tableware for 4 people; wine glasses; drinking glasses; salt/pepper, olive oil.)

Casual chic and comfortable.

My friend and I stayed for 5 days in February. It was very windy and very cold. We still loved our time at the cabin because the windows allowed us connection to the desert and sky and the interior is charming. The cabin was warm and comfortable. The only hitch was difficulty getting hot water in the shower/bath. We did not contact the owner about it. It may be partially due to the very cold weather. I won't hesitate to come back.

Lovely cabin with great views

This is a cute little place that has all the bases covered. No frills, but not lacking in any way. Has a great view of the hills, comfortable beds, multiple hammocks, and is far enough away from neighbors and city, but not far from a Walmart if you need something. It's tidy, the doors seal the bugs out, and everything works. This place is probably best for those who are out hiking or exploring the area during the day. It doesn't really have a sitting area around a TV or a stereo system. It's a great place however to sit and talk with friends and has plenty of space for a great dinner afterwards. The hosts are very quick to respond and are very friendly. Our only recommendation is to bring a Bluetooth speaker, and your own cards or games for post-stargazing entertainment. You'll love your visit!

rustic cabin getaway in Joshua Tree

This is a lovely property. The cabin is simple but aesthetic, and the beds were very comfortable. Sometimes AirB&B accommodations are filled with obvious castaway type furnishings, but this cabin was furnished in a very pleasing way. Also, the hammocks outside were great.

Fantastic stay

Beautiful little house stocked with everything you need. The real reason to stay is the surrounding property! We enjoyed many sunsets in the hammocks outside
